We fortunately have not had to use Trupanion services yet but knowing they are there in case we do is a great peace of mind.

Been with Trupanion since day one!
Both our dogs have been with Trupanion since the day we brought them home. Working in a 24hr emergency hospital you see a lot. I see what it’s like not being able to afford that expensive hospital visit when an unexpected event happens. We have no control sometimes and sometimes dogs are dogs. So we chose Trupanion as I’ve always heard and seen good service with them. So far both our dogs have chronic allergies so Trupanion has really helped us with monthly costs of medications and even the long pricey journey to finding the allergies. They were there every step of the way and we never worried about having to choose money over helping the dogs! Highly recommend if you're the type of person that doesn’t have the high accident savings account for when your furry friend gets sick! Never had any problems with contacting them and even getting confirmation of what is covered when we need it!

Our dog Koko stopped eating
Our dog Koko stopped eating, we took her to our local vet, who wanted further tests done on Koko. Our first two claims were dealt with promptly by Trupanion. There were regular emails on how the claims were progressing. Our vet told us that she had referred Koko to the USASK Vetinary Hospital. A few days later we had to take Koko in as an emergency to the hospital, she spent 2 days(1 night) at the hospital. We knew by the care that she received at the hospital it would be expensive. Trupanion again dealt with our claims very quickly. Thank you Trupanion.

Best pet Insurance for our Liberty
When we brought our English Mastiff home there was a pamphlet in a folder from the vet with different insurance companies for your pet. I chose Trupanion fir our Liberty. Thank god I did because we have had issues with one of her paws. She has a planter wart that won’t go away. We have tried everything but surgery(that’s next) They have paid back at least 3/4 of each bill. Highly recommend!!

I focus on my pup while Trupanion takes care of the rest
Thank goodness for the peace of mind Trupanion gives us. We've run into several small accidents since we got our pup last December but knowing we have Trupanion, it gives me one less thing to worry about and I can just focus on giving the best care that my pup deserves.

Couldn’t have afforded radiation without it
I got pet insurance w my most recent cat because I spent so much money on a cat previously, and it was a combo deal when adopting her from the shelter. She ended up having hyperthyroidism, and needed either lifelong medication or radiation. Without Trupanion, I never would have been able to afford to get her the radiation. She’s doing so well, six months later! She’s regular cat sized (instead of tiny.). I wondered if I was pouring money down the drain the first couple years I had her, but the radiation alone was worth it (and the visits before and since related to her thyroid.). Hopefully she’ll never have to use it again, but I know that if she does, she’ll be covered. And that’s a huge relief.

My 5 year old GSD at the time needed…
My 5 year old GSD at the time needed TPLO surgery. I had no hesitation knowing that Trupanion backed me up. If I didn't have Trupanion I would've had to pay close to $13,000.00 for this surgery and I ended up paying less than $3000.00. Love the company and always recommend.
