Horrendous
I have spoken to three different representatives in the last three weeks. All giving me different answers and zero help. I have submitted everything the vet has in their system on my puppy and I haven't even been able to get my January 4th, 2020 claim approved. I keep getting hassled to provide records from January 2018 and my puppy was not alive as he is currently 9 months old. What is the point of having the best insurance plan if working with Nationwide has been so horrible and time consuming. Will I ever see a claim refund? Everything I have submitted is listed under my policy as being covered. Most likely canceling my plan.

Your the best! I can't imagine life with a pet without you!
We have a dog and a cat. They have been insured since they were babies. I can't imagine not insuring your pet for the security that you know is there to cover very high pet treatment costs. In the last two years at least $10,000.00 has been paid to vets for our dog Chance. She is 8 years old. Mitts our kitty is very healthy and going on 10 years old. Knowing that they are covered makes all the difference; they are our babies and we can't imagine life without them or insurance that protects all of us.

Coverage is great, but if you use the plan they increase your premiums accordingly.
I have no issue with the company itself, customer service, ease of filing a claim, but what I do have an issue with is, I used this plan a lot last year, what did YOU do on my renewal, put my premium up $50/month. When I questioned this, I was told everyone's price went up, that is untrue, I know people that have the same plan as me, but they do not use it as often and their premium did not go up. I will be checking into filing a complaint, but giving you a heads up. This year I have used the plan even more, so I expect on my renewal, you will increase my premium again, if you do, I will know for sure it is because I have been using the plan. For this reason alone, I would not recommend anyone purchase coverage thru YOU.

Ease of claims process
Embrace has seen us through the death of two of our babies. They have made it relatively painless. When Sophie died it really hit us hard. She was our "little girl" that had so many health problems. We had her 10 years and Embrace was there through two surgeries and the medications. We gave daily injections for her diabetes. I can say the claims were so easy. We would go get her insulin and needles, scan the claim form, and upload everything. Within about two or three days we were reimbursed. They even made canceling her insurance easy. After she was gone all we had to do was send an email. We will miss Sophie! Siggy is staying on Embrace and we hope to have him for many more years!
