Well Worth the Money!

I am a huge fan of Healthy Paws Pet Insurance! I wish I'd known about them years ago, but am thankful that I've discovered them now. My sweet little puppy needed some emergency care recently, and I was thrilled to learn that much of it was covered by Healthy Paws! They even helped with the follow-up visits. They have a low deductible and very fair monthly fee! I've been raving about this pet insurance to all of my friends, encouraging them to sign up NOW! Thanks Healthy Paws!!!

I'm very happy with Embrace.

I had to change a lot of information on my policy at first and they were quick to do so and very friendly. I submitted two claims and within 2 weeks had both accepted and a check was on its way to me. I'm very happy with everything through Embrace.

7 years later and still the best

Purchased this insurance about 7 years ago - the very first year our black lab had to have 2 knee surgeries and a hip replacement, they covered $10,000 of the procedures which was the maximum payout we had at that time (make sure when you sign up you have your vet examine your pet fill out the form that indicates no existing musculoskeletal issues - so if something happens later in life it's covered). They were unbelievably phenomenal and have covered follow up adequin injections which cost about $100 a month ever since (many companies even with continued coverage don't cover follow up items after the year the illness/injury occurred they claim it's pre-existing - this company has a pre-existing feature and allows coverage!!) along with anything else that goes wrong with our 2 rescues. I simply can't say enough, the best customer service I have ever experienced - I just wish they covered humans!!!!

Fantastic

Best insurance company I've ever worked with. They make it extremely easy in filing your pets claim and very quick in the processing of those claims. I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to purchase insurance for their pet.

Easiest insurnce claim ever!

My dog Lucy's stomach twisted (bloat) and she required emergency surgery to save her life. Everything happened so fast that I didn't really have time to think about the insurance. After a few days, after everything calmed down and Lucy was recuperating I went online to see how to submit a claim. It was all so easy. I am happy to report that Lucy is fully recovered and has a new leases on life! Thank you Embrace.

Save your money instead

My dog ingested something that cause her to vomit, have diarrhea and drool excessively all in the space of a couple hours. Took her to the emergency vet where problem was indicated as gastroenteritis- possible toxin. She received treatment and after a few hours were sent home two medication. Total bill was $718. Vet submitted claim but PetsPlus claim they did not receive it so spend time running around to get copies of report, scan and email. When I received the results of my claim, they said condition was excluded from coverage. My dog is only one year old and over the eight month period that we were covered by PetsPlus we paid $512 in premiums. I could have saved that money and also avoid the hassle. My health insurer Sunlife is easier to deal with than these guys. I am sure some owners with pets having catastrophic illness value the coverage but for most people I don't think it is worthwhile. Best just to open a special account and put aside some money for vet care.

Great Price even Better Service!

Khloe my French Bulldog has been covered by Embrace since she was 3 months old and it was a great decision to use Embrace instead of another insurance company. I love the fact that you only have one deductible for the year . So many companies have one for each illness so if your dog gets sick, then injured and then has a different illness you have 3 separate deductibles. I also like the fact that last month when Khloe accidentally ate rat poison at a friends house I could race her to an all night emergency vet and know my insurance would still cover her. The only thing you need to be aware of is that it is much to make sure you have your claim forms with you or in your dogs folder at your vet, so the vet can fax them in to Embrace. This is much faster than taking the bill home, filling in the paperwork and then having to go back to the vet for them to fill in the diagnosis .Since pre existing conditions are excluded, I would tell everyone to buy the insurance the first day you get your new pup.

non payment

My dog had an operation last month and ASPCA wouldn't pay for anything!! They claimed that the condition was found before the beginning of this year's coverage. I have to eat about $1300 worth of treatments. I have never ever missed a payment, in fact, the monies come out of my checking account each month. I would never recommend this insurance to anyone ever.

Glad I chose ASPCA

I always worked for a veterinary hospital so I never needed insurance for my own pet but deal with clients' insurance. Now that I am no longer in the industry I had to choose an insurance plan for my pets and I am glad I chose ASPCA. They offer good plans, easy access and settled my claims quickly. Most important of all their staff is top notch. I have never received anything less than the highest quality customer service!

Being a responsible pet parent

Adopting a pet brings with it the responsibility of providing good medical care which, as we all know, can be very expensive. I used to think pet insurance was not a good investment. Then I had a cat with cancer. It took me three years to pay off the $3,500 bill. Ever since then I have had all my pets insured. When another one of my cats had inflammatory bowel disease I was able to provide her with excellent care knowing that I would have some help with her medical expenses. Recently I took my 9-year-old cat, Charlie, to find out that he had a UTI. The blood tests, urine samples, and antibiotics were costly. In addition, while he was there he was found to be in need of dental treatment which included extractions. The money for all his treatment was not in my budget, but was necessary to restore him to the healthy cat he has always been. I knew I would receive help with those expenses and that was a very good thing when two weeks later my other cat had to be treated for an eye infection. I have had my cats and dogs insured through ASPCA for a number of years. Although I have been lucky enough for most of my animals to be healthy and need only regular preventive care, the few times when more care was needed it has been a great relief to know that I could provide whatever was needed. My claims have always been handled quickly and the people I have spoken to at ASPCA have all been wonderful, especially when humane euthanasia was necessary. I will continue to insure my fur babies through ASPCA.
