Very pleased with PetFirst Customer Service

I called to inquire about coverage for my Himalayan kitten.I spoke with Lauren Streible and she was so nice and so very helpful. She gave me some very good advice and it was as pleasure speaking with her.

Pets Best has exceeded all of my expectations.

Pets Best is one of the best decisions I have made on behalf of my dogs - my German Shepherd was recently diagnosed with Immune Mediated Polyarthritis, a disease that seems to be relatively simple to manage but was very complex and expensive to diagnose. Many x-rays, joint-taps, and anti-inflammatory trials later, we had a diagnosis and my boy has been making great progress. I don't think I would have been able to pursue a diagnosis without the help and security of Pets Best insurance. They lived up to every promise and have been fast to process my claims and are true to the policy that I signed up for. Thank you Pets Best, you are amazing!

Claim Service Above & Beyond Expections

Our beloved Frenchie, Bowser, had to undergo immediate surgery due to a disc protrusion with spinal cord compression at C2-3. With an MRI bill of over $2300, and surgery estimates of almost $5000, Healthy Paws was there to quickly reimburse us of the 90% of the bill. To be honest, I was expecting a difficult time with submitting a claim (as this was our first major medical claim). But Healthy Paws was awesome from the time we submitted our claim until post-surgery (even following up with an email to see how our Bowser was doing). Every phone call to Healthy Paw was greeted and helped by a very kind customer support personnel. They truly have gained my trust as best pet insurance in my books. Thank you again to everyone at Healthy Paws!

Very satisfied

Have had this insurance since 2012. That year one of my cats needed emergency care and a two day hospital stay. The claims were paid promptly as they should have. This year my other cat has a difficult to cure respiratory issue and an eye issue. Those claims have been handled properly thus far as well.

Unfairly denied my emergency claim:(

My pet got out and was gone for 3 hours the day before I noticed her acting strange and hanging her head low. I took her into the emergency the next day and she was found to have a C2-3 herniated disc. She was in excruciating pain. They advised that she have surgery ASAP or she should be euthanized. It would be inhumane to keep her alive in such pain. The cost would be close to $4,000. I used all of my savings to save her life. Now she is doing great. I couldn't imaging losing her. I was divorced 2 years ago and was devastated as my ex had been cheating. Mona, my beagle, got me through the pain. I have full custody of our 2 little girls. So I am a single mom, low income, no car, with several medical problems, just scraping by. I don't understand why my claim was denied. I am so saddened by this. I am rating a 5 because the response or denial of my claim was quick. I just don't understand why I was denied.

Embrace continues to provide excellent coverage.

We currently have two Great Danes covered by Embrace; our two previous Danes were also covered by Embrace. While the younger dog typically only has Wellness expenses, the older one has had a number of issues, some quite expensive. Most recently the older Dane has been experiencing back issues. We could not be more pleased with both the coverage and service Embrace provides. Shortly after a claim is submitted through our veterinarian, we get email feedback from Embrace indicating they got it and providing an estimate of when it will be settled. The payments are always promptly made, and the explanation of benefits is always clear and satisfactory. Even our vet was impressed with the percent covered for an MRI.

Paid my claim exactly as stated in policy!!!!!

We got our mini doxie when she was 1 1/2 years old learned that they tend to have back problems that often require very expensive surgery. We decided to take out pet insurance on her and chose Healthy Paws as they cover hereditary conditions. When Shelby turned around three, she began having back issues and a few weeks ago her leg seemed to be dragging. We took her to emergency and she needed surgery immediately. We could not have paid that much money if we did not have pet insurance. Healthy Paws has reimbursed us like they said they would and even sent a nice email asking how Shelby was doing on her recovery. This took alot of stress out of the situation so we could focus on Shelby and her recovery.

Great experience so far!

Petunia is our third dog, we had lost 2 9 months prior to getting her. We felt like our choice in veterinary care had something to do with the passing of our previous dogs. We wanted to have the opportunity to choose any vet but not have to should the cost of better care. Embrace has given us this choice and knowing that we can make decisions about Petunia's care without having to worry as much about the cost is of great comfort. Embrace has offered us an easy and awesome experience.
