Fast and fair
We have submitted several claims, often for major procedures, and Embrace has always responded quickly and fairly. The claim process is also very straightforward and can be handled online.

Great customer service
I enrolled two newly adopted kitties and haven't yet used the insurance, but the customer service was excellent through the enrollment process. They answered all of my questions, and I like the different plan options. The rate seems reasonable.

I have owned an insurance policy with Pets Best for four years and the one time I make use of it they failed to honor their policy for reimbursement. It's going on three weeks and I only just get a notice that my cliam is bring process. This wayyy to long for them to honor a cliam.

A relief during hard times
We have been with Healthy Paws for several years covering our two dogs, Earl and Eddie. Earl recently was in and out of the hospital for two months culminating in a diagnosis of acute leukemia and his eventual passing. During this incredibly difficult time for our family, we never had to worry about the financial impact due to our coverage with Healthy Paws. They covered over $8,000 of vet bills for Earl in his final months and did not nickel-and-dime us at all. Healthy Paws likely has a lifetime customer. Thank you!

Great insurance but expensive
We’ve been with Nationwide for 4 years now. We love the coverage & ease of submitting claims. The only complaint I have is the major rate increase. It’s quite a bit pricier than other companies (with the same coverage). I’m hoping that Nationwide will reconsider this major hike & bring it back down a bit!!!

Large bill handled quickly
My brand new puppy was completely healthy at his first checkup, and thrived wonderfully for 3 weeks after that initial health exam. Then he seemed to have a cough/ phlegm issue. We took him to the vet immediately. He had x-rays and was diagnosed with early stages pneumonia or bronchitis. I started him on the medication the vet gave me that afternoon, and by 10 pm that night I had to bring him to the emergency room because he could not breathe correctly. He spent the next 6 days in the ICU and kept getting worse despite IV meds, fluids etc. Finally he had to be euthanized. It was heartbreaking for my family and it would have been made even worse if we had to fight with insurance to get the large payment to the vet reimbursed. But it took about three weeks to get the check, and I was so glad we had chosen Embrace for Clyde's health insurance.

Great company to work with handles claim fast and easy
All of our claims have been handled quickly. Sadie has her first sick visit a couple of weeks ago and they processed the claim as quickly and easily as her well visits. Great company to deal with if you have a question they answer it quickly.
