Great coverage with fast customer service.

My dog had a major issue which required many trips to the vet in addition to surgery. Healthy Paws was very quick to review our claims. The phone app made it even more of a breeze. People need health insurance, so do our furry family members, and Health Paws is great pet insurance.

Premium Hike without Notice

I've had my policy for a couple of years. Made a couple of claims one one dog with seemingly no issue. So when my policy renewed this year, I didn't think to much about it. Until I saw my bank statement and realized that when they renewed the policy they doubled my premium on my two dogs without notice. I haven't even made any claims on one of my dogs and they still hiked the premium. I should have been notified, now I feel like they are dishonest and hoping I wouldn't notice. Crooks do things like this.

And then there was one...

Thankfully I had VPI when Lina, my pit mix was diagnosed with cancer. Her care was top notch and never questioned. The amount reimbursed was a Godsend and I will be forever grateful for their kindness when she died. I still have her sister Toto and she is doing well and I love the check-in emails and reminders of exactly what is available to me as a pet owner. Yes, there are limitations but in the scheme of devastating illnesses I was able to make a much better decision with the options I had available. Toto uses wellness but she too is getting older and I rest assured I can care for her with confidence and VPI

Amazing to deal with and would recommend to anyone

Trupanion is amazing and way easier to deal with then my insurance on my life. My dog became ill and within a week over $7500 dollars of vet expenses racked up. When it came to the last procedure I was not able to afford the $5300 surgery upfront so trupanion rushed the claim process and pre approved the surgery and covered the 90% upfront so that I did not have to worry about it. This all happened in a matter of a couple hours. This gave my dog Maya the best chance to survive but unfortunately we had to put down Maya at a young age of just over 1 year old as her liver completely failed.

Embrace is the BEST!

Embrace has taken excellent care of our 10 yr. old Mastiff mix dog Jack since we rescued him at age 1. He has had several major life threatening problems along the way and we would not have been able to afford his medical bills without Embrace. He is the very BEST dog we have ever owned and love him with all our hearts. As retired seniors now we are enjoying old age with our sweet senior Jack. THANK YOU EMBRACE!

Saved me $1,900 in 1 year

My cat had to get 2 ultrasounds and multiple treatments for stomach issue. Seven claims in one year totaling $2,009.I did have to pay the vet fees upfront and then was reimbursed. Have MAJOR MEDICAL for all of my pets and the claim process was super easy. Was refunded amounts in 30 days. Only paid the $100 deductible overall. Just wrote this review out of gratitude since I was so skeptical at first. Insurance companies are notorious for fine print.

Black Lab Mix Broken Dew Claw

My 5 y/o spayed lab is the sweetest, clumsiest dog. When I noticed her abnormal dew claw my vet took her immediately. After the surgery and recovery she had her annual wellness. She has also been on Trifexis since Comfortis and Advantage upgraded. No problems. I never expected to get reimbursement for her wellness. I knew the surgery would be covered. What a pleasant surprise to have 2 checks arrive. Our hot water heater went belly-up and the checks covered everything. I just wish human insurance was this good. Full disclosure, immediate returns, consistent and frequent communication whether or not there are any glitches. What a great group of people. Thank you again Embrace team.

Best pet insurance I ever had

We have been using Embrace for many years but never had the opportunity to realize how great this company is until the past couple of months. Our dog Pirouette is nine years old and has always been pretty healthy. During the last checkup, our vet discovered that she has some kidney problems. After tests and ultra sound, she was diagnosed with glomerulonephritis. She is now treated to hopefully resolve this issue ASAP. There was no doubt in our mind that we were going to do whatever was necessary to find out her problem regardless of the price but it is wonderful to see that during this process Embrace reimbursed us 80% of those bills. The process was easy and the reimbursement happened quickly.

Fabulous customer service

I have only been with Embrace for a month with our new puppy, but I have already been so impressed with their customer service and so happy I went with them. They are kind, quick to respond and incredibly easy to file claims with. After a small accident we already met our deductible and we got a check quickly. Since we've never had pet insurance I was concerned there would be a lot of red tape and confusion, but it has been the complete opposite. The claims are straightforward, easy and Embrace works well and quickly with our vet clinic. All I have to do is submit the paperwork and they do the rest. I'm so thankful for their care for our puppy and quick responses! I highly recommend their plans. It is great to have so many options to choose from so you can really customize what works best for your situation.

Glad to have the service, but has room to improve

My husband and I are in complete agreement with regard to our experiences with your company. We do thank you for taking the time out to follow up on our concerns regarding claims payment. This is greatly appreciated and serves to confirm the genuine care and high level of quality customer service that your customer care department provides. This is indeed something that is not often seen these days. The follow up that we have received from managementand your customer care department has been spot on with regards to quality. We have always been treated with the highest degree of professionalism and warmth when we have contacted your customer care department. Unfortunately, with regards to claims payment, there has been some confusion regarding this. When we initially came on board with Embrace, the health records for our two fury children were requested and were provided by our veterinarian. I personally gave the written request and watched the office staff pull and fax the records to Embrace. Soon after, I brought my dogs in for wellness care and there seemed to be no problem. However later, the wellness and non-wellness claims that we submitted were being basically placed on hold pending receipt of information requested from the provider. Our Veterinarian responded to Embrace's requests. Also upon our inquiry, they confirmed with us that they twice re-faxed over the health record for one of our dogs per embraces's request. Further, notifications were not sent to or received by us about the delays. We only became aware of this after we called in to inquire about claims status and checked for status on the website which is a nice feature to have). We believe that the problems we incurred were due to the fact that we were not made aware of some of the procedures that your company has with regards to claims processing. In all of our claims submissions we have provided the billing statements from our veterinary provider along with the receipt showing payment. Apparently Embrace requires that providers fill out the claims form provided by Embrace. Our veterinarian does not do billing for services and believed it to be sufficient to provide us with an itemized statement. We have a great relationship with our veterinarian and they have always been timely in responding to our requests. Since then, they have made some exceptions for us in this area and have begun completing the forms for us for submission to you. Thus far, we believe that this ar
