Our cat had diabetes, allergies and renal failure requiring daily medication. Trupanion paid for all his medical care including needles, test strips and over-the-counter allergy medications. They always processed my claims quickly and I was even able to submit by sending photos of the receipts and claim form by email. Our cat was hospitalized twice, and both times Trupanion paid the vet hospital directly. We will definitely get Trupanion coverage when we adopt our next pet.

Our 10-month-old English Bulldog puppy had to have emergency foreign object removal surgery after eating something he wasn't supposed to (as puppies do!) and we are so thankful we had the foresight to sign up for pet insurance when we got him. He is back to being happy, goofy, and healthy and we got back more than 2/3 of the cost (which was a few thousand dollars!) of his major surgery because of Healthy Paws. The process was so easy! Taking a photo of the invoices and submitting them through the app was super convenient, and we got our money ASAP (even with an address change delay - our fault!) It was unbelievable how stress-free the process was so we could spend our energy and focus on getting our pup healed. Healthy paws truly cares for their clients. I was unsure what my options were when my not even two year old pit bull mastiff was diagnosed with medial patellar luxation--a congenital condition which needs an expensive surgery to correct. They were very easy to communicate with as well as answer any questions and what if scenarios. It's always a speedy process for claims with no issues.

I have had Healthy Paws insurance for my six y/o Standard Goldendoodle for several years now, but have never needed it for anything major until a few weeks ago when my dog, Chablis tore her CrCL and need surgery. Filing my claim took about 2 minutes online. I received my checks in 6 business days. They were extremely helpful and prompt in answering my questions and addressing my needs.

My pup, Buck had ACL surgery - the vet submitted the claim on our behalf - in about a week after the surgery - Healthy Paws cut the reimbursement check. For 3 pups its about $115 per month - with a $250 deductible per pup - we chose 80-20 split....Well worth the money. Not only were they very timely in reimbursement they also reached out to see how Buck was coming along in his healing. That shows a company that CARES...
