Money Well Spent

We have had ASPCA insurance for many years due to having 3 large dogs. As minors claims have come up, ASPCA has always dealt with them in a professional manner. This year we have had some major expenses around the $6k mark. ASPCA has quickly paid the claims. Buying ASPCA dog insurance has been money very well spent.

Relief

When our 1.5 yr old Aby started limping around, (when he moved at all!), not eating & became hot and shaky to the touch my husband and I were terrified. We wanted the best care for him possible and quick. Embraces responsiveness made getting that care promptly a reality. We are so grateful to have our sweet, sassy, playful and HUNGRY Aby back!

Surprised at how Easy it was !

I added a second pet and had never used the insurance before. We had a wellness checkup with the 2nd pet and I remembered to put a claim in. I got a response within a couple of days and a check within a week. Very quick and easy!

Read the fine print---TWICE

The insurance is good but....Don't get a full year of preventive flea/tick. They will only partially reimburse a 6 months supply. Also if your dog gets injured or sick within the 1st 12 months, your screwed. But I guess in that regard it is the same as with human medical insurance. More pages of what is NOT covered and limitation on timeframe for what is covered.

Smudge's care

I have a cat with two lumps on him. I wasn't concerned about having the tests done on him because I knew I had Pets Best Insurance to help me. The tests came out great and the insurance helped out with the costs

Easy, Hassle-Free Claim Process

One of my dogs recently had to be taken to the emergency vet clinic and kept on fluids and meds under observation overnight. Fortunately, insurance covered the whole experience with no issues and the reimbursement check showed within a couple of weeks of submitting the claim. Second time I've had to make a claim and both experiences have been stellar.

Microchip Rip-Off

I agree with almost all of the other posts on this site saying that 24 Pet Watch is a terrible company. They take advantage of people trying to protect their pets and give them no benefits from all the money they've spent. There are so many loophooles and fine print that you never get what you sign up for. I had a problem with them from the very beginning. My cats were already microchipped with this company when I got them from the shelter, so I was stuck with it. I signed up for the free 30-day insurance and soon after my cats got sick with a URI and I needed to take them to the vet and get medicine for both of them. They made the claim system extremely difficult and time-consuming, maybe hoping that people won't actually take the effort to file a claim. Tons of paperwork, lots of tedious information needed, and then you have to file it through the vet instead of just sending it in. And none of it cannot be done online in an easy way. Then of course my claim was denied. After all that, I discovered that their microchips don't work after a year unless you sign up for their maintenance program. If you don't pay their yearly fees they won't let you update your information. Can you imagine losing your pet and then being told that their microchip doesn't work because you didn't want to pay a yearly fee for a chip that requires NO MAINTENANCE! As soon as I discovered this, I tried to switch to a new microchip company that doesn't charge after the microchip is inserted and was told that most vets/shelters won't insert another microchip when there is already one in place. So now I'm stuck with this terrible company that at best has a 2-star rating out of 10. This company is the worst.

Excellent service!

I have had ASPCA Pet Insurance for over 4 years for my 2 dogs. Sadly, we lost one of our fur babies during this time. ASPCA Pet Insurance has always been so helpful and prompt in processing all of our claims, and especially helpful and comforting during the loss of our fur baby Max. I cannot say enough how pleased I've been with the overall level of service of ASPCA Pet Insurance. I highly recommend to any pet parent!

Quick and easy

My 16 month old English Spronger Spaniel had a growth that was growing and bleeding. We had it removed. It was benign! Once I reviewed the policy, I followed the instructions and gathered the required documentation and filled out the claim form. I sent all info in. Soon after that I received an e-mail confirmation that my claim had been received and was being reviewed. In a timely manner I received the review of what was eligible to claim and shortly after that I received my check.Thank you for a prompt review and response.

Helpful and easy to file claims

My beabull Bella used to be sick all the time and the vet recommended testing her for allergies. The dog had indeed all possible allergies . The testing and treatment were expensive ($400 + testing and $200 + year long treatment) but ASPCA covered 90% of it. ... I just had to submit the bill and fill-up the claim form...Quite happy with their services and so far, in over 3 years , I never had a claim denied, as it happened previously with VPI.
