Our insurance with Embrace for our Miniature Poodle, Enzo, has paid for itself many times over. Our claims for Enzo have been reimbursed in a timely manner. The staff at Embrace has been a pleasure to deal with regarding any matter, and we are more than satisfied with Embrace as our insurer for our beloved dogs. Today, medical care for our animals rivals that of people, and insurance is truly becoming a necessity if you choose to own a pet and provide it with the best care possible. Our wellness claim for our healthy 16-month old "dood" was processed in five days (including the weekend). We were kept informed of the claim status by email messages (when the claim was received and when it was processed for payment). A detailed Explanation of Benefits (EOB) was provided for my records along with a friendly message from the staff letting me know that I would receive a check within 10 days. Our claim was submitted only one day after our contract renewal, but there was no delay in processing our claim. We appreciate the quick processing of our claim and the details that are provided on the EOB.

I take my dog annually for a wellness checkup and to get his shots. It's nice to know this insurance covers those expenses as his annual checkup with shots cost between $400 and $600. I have recommended Embrace to many a pet owner.

My baby had a malignant tumor on her toe and the whole toe had to be amputated. I was so grateful that Embrace was there to help me pay for the surgery. My vet submitted the claims and with no questions asked I received reimbursement within a couple of weeks. It made the whole experience so much better that I didn't have to worry about how I was going to pay for the unexpected costs!

Claim was for 12/10/16 and 12/12/16. Embrace made the process easy. All questions and talking with Embrace representatives were pleasant. Extremely satisfied with answers and making sure I understood what was needed to facilitate claim. Glad I have the insurance.

I have read other reviews, which tend to be negative. I fortunately have had a wonderful experience with VPI/Nationwide. I decided to get insurance for my cat after he had multiple surgeries to remove foreign bodies (he would eat anything he could). One of the swallowed items almost proved fatal. After cat proofing my house, there have been no more foreign body ingestion but unfortunately, Elliot suddenly developed acute cardiomyopathy. He was only given a year to live on the treatment prescribed. Between his hospitalization to stabilize him with draining his collapsed lung and proper meds, the bills were almost 3000 dollars. Nationwide has reimbursed almost 100%. I am grateful for this, ones less stressor to have do deal with. Grateful I can put my energy into taking care of Elliot instead of having to fight City Hall. I love Nationwide.
