How much do you love your pet?
My previous sweet Maltese (who passed away very young) and current Maltese are both insured by Trupanion. Trupanion made it extremely easy to file a claim, and either approved the claim and paid the vet at checkout or sent out a check within days. I have friends who use other insurers but none have the coverage and responsiveness of Trupanion. You can have peace of mind knowing your pet's bills won't bankrupt you and prevent you from seeking proper treatment when necessary. If you care for your pet like you care for yourself, you'll choose Trupanion.

The money back guarantee is a scam
The money back guarantee is a scam. I did not make any claims and requested a refund well within a few days of signing up yet only received about 80% of my money back. After waiting nearly an hour to get in contact with the right department, the rep made false statements regarding another insurance company when I requested cancellation.

Been a loyal customer for about 3 years now. Highly recommend Healthy Paws. Competitive premiums, excellent customer service, quick claim processing, and most definitely worth every penny of the monthly premiums. Unfortunately we’ve had to use our coverage more than we anticipated and every single time we’ve left the vets office or the animal hospital, we take 2 sighs of relief - 1) that our previous fur baby is going to be ok and back on the right track with a treatment plan and 2) thank God that we have pet health insurance!
