Wonderful company!

We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever who just turned 2 years old. At 6 months, he was diagnosed with entropion and has required 3 corrective eye surgeries and numerous other vet appointments. PetsPlusUs has given us the peace of mind knowing we could proceed with all of his surgeries. He's 100% now and we are so happy. Every time I call or email PetsPlusUs their first question is always to ask how Walter(our pup) is. They never make us feel bad or guilty for using the insurance. Without hesitation I would insure any other pets through PetsPlusUs. Truly a wonderful company that made our tough situation so much easier!

I'm so glad I have Pets Plus Us insurance.

I picked up two kittens (Flip and Flop)from a rescue shelter and luckily they came with a free trail of pet insurance. One of the kittens(Flop)is that kitten that will be my forever problem cat. Within a day of being home his eye started to puss and swell and need attention. After 6 weeks of Vet visits and two surgeries on his one eye, he can partially see out of it and he is doing well. It cost over $2500 ans Pets Plus US covered the 80% no hassles. The Vet sent all the paperwork in and within 10 days the payment was in my bank account. Move forward one year same kitten (FLOP)has somehow broken both his back legs. (indoor cat and a growth plate problem?? Who knew) He needed multiple x-rays Vet visit and Pain meds. It took over 3 weeks to see the Specialist who completed a bilateral hip joint removal. He is almost back to himself minus the hair not fully regrown.(he looks like he's not wearing any pants ... really funny) Pets Plus Us fully covered %80 of all the expenses no question no hassles, the vet sent all the bills in a I had full payment within 10 days the cost was up over $3000 this time. It was wonderful how fast and easy it was to claim. I think this is the best insurance I have. To top it off they have called to see how the FLOP is doing!!

Excellent Insurance

I got Pets Plus Us insurance shortly after adopting adorable puppy Molly. 2 weeks later she had an accident and her front leg was fractured. The vet at emergency hospital recommended to leave Molly overnight for additional assessment in the morning. Next morning I've received a phone call and was told Molly needs surgery asap. Everything went great and she recovered completely. I paid almost $5,000. When Molly was discharged I sent a claim request to Pets Plus Us. Without any problems at all I received reimbursement 2 weeks later. Without Insurance I would probably recover from this expense for a year or more.I hadn't had any experience with Pets Insurance companies before, but will always use and recommend Pets Plus Us.

Sawyer (Labradoodle) Hellis

Your service to Sawyer was excellent. Sawyer had two significant health issues and unfortunately failed to survive the second one. Embrace did wonderful service to us during his short illness, and we thank you for that. Your service and rates are better than our previous insurer.

Good, but not great company

They have great customer service, which is probably why I'm still here. Claims are handled quickly and directly to our checking account. My only issue, is the maximum payout on health problems and accidents of the same issue seems very low (I'm on the middle coverage plan - not cheap low option). This caught me by surprise. They consider health issues to be a reoccurring problem when they aren't directly related, not happy.

Lost Claim

The 12th of January is when the claim was sent when we called go verify the claim. They stated they never received it and after going through emails and going back and forth. My wife was deployed and it took her coming back making phone calls and then getting our claim through. I called to confirm the receipt of the claim and was told it would be handled only to call again after a month. With my wife to go through it after her deployment.

Peace of mind worth every penny

I never had pet insurance in the past; always thought it might be a good idea just never got around to it. About three years ago I saw an offer via USAA for Embrace and I jumped on it. After two years without any serious illnesses or injuries I started questioning whether I really needed it. Then it happened. Now within the span of a year we have been through hemorrhagic gastroenteritis with a 3-day stay in the ICU to a torn ACL needing surgical repair. Embrace has been wonderful, covering everything and handling the claims clearly and expeditiously. I will never think twice again and highly recommend them without reservation.

Smooth, quick claim response and reimbursement

Embrace immediately informed me via email that they received my claims for illness claims while I was vacationing with my Golden. I also received notice of coverage quickly and my checks were waiting for me when I returned home. Thank you!

<3 LOVE THIS INSURANCE: Can they cover humans? lol

I am a FurMom through and through. My pets mean the world to me and i want nothing but the best for them. However, let's be honest, furbabies are not cheap. I started learning about pet insurance with another company. My parents started with Healthy Paws (which they loved) as soon as I got my new pup, Lucy, I had my last hassle with Trupanion and switched to Healthy Paws. Healthy Paws has been wonderful: they have great customer service, a great business model and quick turn around even on my Lucy's ACL surgery :( Oh, even her ortho surgeon was saying how amazing healthy paws are when I told him I had it. If you are on the fence: I own a Pet sitting/walking business (PoochTown) and I have told all my clients about Healthy Paws. Some already have them and love them. Others chose other plans - then regretted it later. Some didn't do anything and also regretted that even more later. Honestly, I wish my health insurance would run as well as Healthy Paws does.
