Shortly after obtaining pet insurance from Healthy Paws, our Labradoodle became very ill. After several trips to the vet, medications, and finally, the emergency clinic, it was determined that he had Addison's disease. Without treatment, he would die. Throughout the week long ordeal, we were in contact with Healthy Paws as our medical costs were quickly mounting. They were calm, reassuring, and encouraging. Their reimbursement payments came quickly and they called to check in on Buster two different times to see how he was feeling. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owner!

We are on our third Cairn Terrier and signed up for pet insurance for the first time. Previous dogs had knee and back surgeries that were very expensive. So far we have just used it for a urinary track infection. It is good to have some relief from small vet bills and piece of mind that any future large vet bills will be covered.

My poor Greyhound Gal had a broken toe accident while running like the wind. After two months and 5 doctors later - she is healed. I say 5 doctors because my initial vet wanted to splint her toe (bad idea because the Greyhounds don't do well with splinting AND she had a wound between the two toes). Another doctor in this practice wanted to amputate the toe! No way! Off to another practice who is much more experienced with the Greyhound breed. There was much concern about the wound becoming infected. It was a major challenge for the duration. ASPCA was wonderful with all the claims I submitted. Thankfully Gal is healed and still has all her toes!

Our dog Bertie was suffering from joint pain. The decision to have full hip replacement surgery was a tough one but he has come through and now leads a happy and active life. Without Embrace it would more than likely not been possible.They were very supportive throughout and prompt with reimbursement of a good portion of the surgery and post-operative care. Would definitely recommend Embrace to all pet owners.

I would recommend every pet owner to sign their pet up to Healthy Paws as soon as they hopefully adopt or buy their pet. I signed up five years ago when I adopted my first dog and have been incredibly impressed with them. I just wish my medical insurance was as good, as efficient, as easy to use, and as caring. At one point last year, I had not been to the vet in so long that for a minute I questioned the pet insurance premium. So glad I kept it as this year my beautiful, strong mutt tore her ACL and had a very expensive surgery. I was reimbursed within a week! I tried everything possible to not have to do the surgery but in the end it was 90% torn so had to go ahead with surgery. With everything I had to worry/stress about with my pup, it was nice not to have to worry about the financial burden as well. If you're thinking of getting pet insurance, this is a no brainer.
