When only the Best Will Do

You may find pet insurance that costs less up front, but you won't find better coverage or customer service than Embrace. My dog Buster is my little angel on earth, and only the best will do where his health and well being are concerned. The coverage is generous, claims are processed quickly, and the folks who work there are courteous and kind.

You NEED Healthy Paws!

My wife and I picked up our first puppy about a year ago. Luckily we had some friends that told us about pet insurance and suggested Healthy Paws. I wish our medical insurance was this great! Our puppy has had a handful on things come up over the last year and it has been amazing not having to worry about how much something might cost. Unfortunately, he had to have surgery last month on his ankle which could've cost us $3,200. Luckily we had Healthy Paws and didn't have to worry about the cost and could focus on getting him the best treatment possible and his recovery. They even emailed us after the surgery to see how he was doing! My favorite part of the Healthy Paws is how easy it is to use. You get the app on your phone, set it up with your information and you're done. We go to the vet, upload a quick picture of our bill and a few days later we get a breakdown of what was covered and what our reimbursement will be. The only thing I could say to improve the service would be adding direct deposit for the claim reimbursement. But we typically get a check in a matter of a few days so not the end of the world. You never want something to happen to your pet but it's nice to have coverage for when something does come up.

Outstanding Customer Service!

The title says it all! In 2013, I was deciding on which company to pick for my dogs pet insurance. I am so glad I chose Embrace. The few times I called, the staff was caring and answered any questions. The vet that performed the surgeries on my dog, wouldn't fill out the claim forms. That is not a problem. I filled it out and submitted it with the receipts. Within a few days claims are being processed and within 2 weeks payment is sent. I let the vet know how wonderful Embrace is and any pet owner I see. As the saying goes"word of mouth is the best advertising."Embrace is more than a life saver, they're a pet saver!

They are going to find a way not to pay

My dog was 7 months old when I signed up and previously went to the vet for a routine check up and mentioned she was a little itchy. The vet just moved her hair and didn't see redness tested for mites and came back negative so she said she was fine. Now my dog is itchy and being treated for mites and they are not covering it because they said it was pretty existing even though when she was tested it came back negative. I tried appealing and could not get in touch with someone with a medical background for at least a month. I called over 15 times and nobody was available to help. I finally spoke to the appeal manager and she told me that there's a high probability that for the rest of my 11 month old dogs life they will never cover anything involved with itching. I wasn't aware that itching was a condition. I feel robbed. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for pet insurance. Unless you sign up before your dog has ever been to the vet they are going to find a way to not cover you.

Great insurance

I've had both my senior dogs covered since they were young. I was very thankful for my insurance as it covered meds for my pug's seizures & even an MRI. The reimbursement came very quickly & I was able to do it online. I'd recommend it for sure!

Great coverage and care

We had this insurance on our cats for 13+ years. When the time came for us to get dogs it was a no-brainer. We adopted two rescue dogs within a week of each other and both presented a large number of challenges. We met our deductible on each within the first month! The claims process works like clockwork, and submitting estimates for future care is a breeze. The cost of the premium is negligible given the cost of vet care. We would never be without it.

Happy to have insurance

My dog has 2 floating patellas, she is a 3 year old mix that could no longer run like she use to. Vet said surgery was the only answer and estimated about 3 to 4000 each leg. She decided the left was the worst and would need to be done first, then we can take the other leg after this was done and healthy. Trupanion made this easy and affordable

Life Saver

Healthy Paws has been such a life saver for me and my dogs. One is sick with Kidney Disease and they have been reimbursing me for every visit I have after I have reached my deductible. It is quick and easy!
