Embrace honored my first claim
Embrace honored my first claim for cat skin biopsy (cancerous?). Just over $400. They took out the $300 deductible which was expected, and paid the rest. They did all the contact with the vet, contacted me by email if needed, informative, nice, emails. Good job, good service. Not cancerous, tyvm!

Way too long to process claims
I’ve submitted three claims and the SHORTEST amount of time it took to process a claim was over a month. They are the slowest pet insurance provider I’ve seen and it’s very frustrating to wait over a month for reimbursement while you were already out of the money the day of the claim.

The reason I have given 3 stars is…
The reason I have given 3 stars is because I have not actually experienced a benefit from the insurance. I just signed up because my dog is my most important companion and I want to be able to help him if an accident or illness occurs. I hope this insurance will be there for me when I need them, but I have not had an issue so far. I chose ASPCA because it was recommended to me by a friend. There are so many other companies out there and it is hard to choose. I did have Petplan insurance, but I cancelled it do to communication with their representatives. They did not have good customer service. So far, communications with ASPCA has been fabulous.
