I've had pet insurance with ASPCA for 12 years and it was one of the best decisions for Bailey. He is a Lab with a curious sense of adventure and appetite. He recently decided to eat some unsavory items which left him with diarrhea. He is back to himself now and we are always happy to receive some form of reimbursement in the mail - it's nice that ASPCA calls to check up on him too.

Excellent Service
I have been a member of ASPCA Pet Insurance since 2009 and I truly believe they are the best pet insurance out there. They were the only insurance that would cover my 10 year old cat. My sister has VPI and is switching to ASPCA because they give her so much trouble and won't pay the claims.
My cat, Minnew, was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney disease and hyperthyroid 3 years ago and ASPCA Covered all of her expenses (she had continuing care). They would call and check on her all the time, which made me feel good about their service. She passed at 18 years in August of 2016 and since then I have adopted a kitten and she also now has insurance through ASPCA.

Amazing company
Love dealing with ASPCA they are an amazing company. They settle claims quickly and don't make things difficult.

Surprisingly easy and smooth process
I was surprised how easy it was to file a claim, how much they covered and how quickly I was reimbursed. Really impressed. I had a different pet insurance in the past and that one didn't compare to ASPCA. Highly recommend.

Exactly what I expected, how all insurance should
I submitted a claim for my dog Oscar after he had surgery on his eye. I was kept informed of each step of the process when the form was received, when it was being processed and when they were sending my check. When I got the explanation of what they covered it was exactly what they had said it would be when we signed up for the insurance and there were no hidden exclusions.

Quick turnaround on claims
They were very quick to pay out on a claim (submitted Wednesday night received payment Monday morning). Our little chihuahua got into meds and she had to stay at the hospital for 36 hours. Trupanion called to check on her and me, and reassured me they were there to help. They even talked with my vet to get the payment preapproved so I did not have to leave a deposit with my vet. A++++ service!!

ASPCA Very satisfied
ASPCA pet insurance has been extremely easy to work with. Our shih-tzu, Justy , has a biopsy performed as well as a major ear infection which was quite expensive. ASPCA delivered on their promise and responded quickly. I would highly recommend this company.

Pretty good, requires upkeep
Embrace was recommended by our vet. The web portal is easy to navigate and submitting claims is simple, customer service is helpful and patient. However, on multiple occasions we have had to step in to push Embrace to file claims that our vet office already sent. Or, in the example of our first claim, there was a holdup because our vet had failed to send a form to Embrace when we initially signed up-- but we were never informed there was a problem until we tried to submit our first claim months later. We have to be alert and advocate for our claims, as so far they haven't happenned seamlessly. That's about par for the course with any kind of insurance, and luckily we haven't had any serious or very expensive issues yet.
