When we purchased our yellow lab, he came with six weeks insurance from another provider. As I closed in on the 6 week expiry I had chatted with a client/breeder and told her I was in the market and she recommended this company. I did some more research myself and Pets+Us was the one I chose. So glad we did!! Our 10 month old lab almost lost his life about 6 weeks ago due to a stomach issue and needing emergency surgery.I sent in my claim and was contacted immediately that they had received it and were reviewing it. There was some missing info that was needed so they emailed me and I took that to my vet to finish the process. To my surprise, someone from the company had contacted my vet directly and had them fax over the missing info. What a relief that I wouldn't need to wait anymore time to get reimbursed. My experience with any kind of insurance has always been that the client does all the running around and collecting of info. I called to make sure they had everything they needed and the person on the other end of the call spoke to me as if I were a friend asking how my family member was and wishing him well. I was thrilled to receive another call back as well to see how he was making out. The total turn around was less than 3 weeks I believe and the money was deposited electronically right to our account. I tell all my pet owning friends about how impressed I was with Pets+Us and their process. I hope I never need to use them again, but if I do, I am glad it is them I will be dealing with!

Healthy Paws has been truly amazing to work with on a regular basis, but even more so in a time of need. Recently, our dog spent 1.5 weeks in ICU at a local vet hospital after suffering a stroke. Healthy Paws processed and approved the claim that resulted from the bill for that visit, as well as sent the check to us incredibly fast. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance!

We did a fair amount of comparison shopping before settling on Healthy Paws pet insurance for our labradoodle puppy, Lola. She has quite a knack for swallowing things she shouldn't...most have passed, but two weeks ago she ate a rock and it got stuck in her small intestine. A trip to the emergency vet clinic and a $2500 bill later, and we are back in business! Healthy Paws has a very easy app to use on your phone (or multiple other ways to submit a claim)--I just took a photo of Lola's bill and turned it in to them. Within 2 days I received email confirmation and within 2 weeks I had my reimbursement check in hand--the exact amount according to my policy. Zero hassle! Super nice customer service when I enrolled. Affordable options for premiums and various deductible levels. I've never purchased pet insurance before, but now I'll never have another dog uninsured. It sure made it easy to choose surgery when the vet gave us our options while staring at that xray!

Healthy Paws is a blessing to our family and our pet. Our sweet 9-year old Joy (dachshund/beagle)had a large mass on her spleen and pancreatitis. As you can imagine, we were very emotional and stressed not knowing if it may be cancerous. The surgery went very well and Joy is spleen-free and cancer-free. I cannot even imagine how much more stressful this would have been if we did not have Healthy Paws insurance. Not having to worry about financial debt brought us assurance. Healthy Paws is very good about keeping in contact with you once they receive your claim and "quickly" processed our refund check. They also care personally. They checked up on Joy throughout her recovery to see how she was doing and gave me words of encouragement, which meant so much to me considering the worry of surgery for my Joy. I had Pets Best insurance for Joy before finding Healthy Paws. I would NOT recommend Pets Best as we had them for a few years and only used them once for Joy...as Joy got older they raised our rates!!! We have the same insurance plan with Healthy Paws as we did with that other company and our rates our lower. I thank God we found Healthy Paws and I cannot express how happy we are with them....please don't go anywhere else if you love your pet. Thank you Healthy Paws!!

I insure all three of my dogs with Healthy Paws and it does get costly. However, whenever I consider dropping my insurance one of my dogs will have something happen that will remind me that my Healthy Paws coverage is essential! Each time I have submitted a claim it has been processed promptly and I have never had to fight for compensation....each time has been smooth sailing! Recently my older dog needed significant leg surgery and once again my claim check was to me quickly....which really was a blessing as surgery gets expensive! I did my research and am very happy with my choice of Healthy Paws!
