My 3yr old Standard Poodle has had several serious heath issues. The most recent requiring surgery. Quick processing of bills and claim reviews. Friendly, caring customer service (US based). Not the cheapest insurance, but GREAT service. Very happy client who has a high level of confidence in TRUPANION.

They offer different packages for different types of services for your fur babies. I ended up needing to use it & they were great. My past pet insurance didn't cover anything & it was more expensive. I'll always recommend spot insurance

My dog got very sick and needed emergency care
My dog got very sick and needed emergency medical care and then hospitalization. Trupanion was able to pay my vet on the spot and reimbursemented me for the medical emergency visit quickly so I could focus on taking care of my dog. I am very happy with this company. And my dog is doing better

There rates start out good when your dog is young healthy, then watch out it goes crazy high there plan is to get you to reduce your reimburstment and up your deductible. I have put in as few claims maybe most I got from them 5000 or 6000 in 10 years Ive been paying more out of pocket then putting in claims to keep his cost down but just now they raises in back to 279 plus my 1000 deductible I have a 70% reimburstment had to lower it to 50% stay away
