Quick Response to claims.

We had to take our pet to the vets due to his licking/chewing at an area on his leg/paw where the hair was gone and the area was red and he was continually licking at it. Could be underlying allergy and/or he scraped the top of right foot. Felt our claim was handled in a very professional and quick manner after submission.

If you go to the vet, why not have coverage?

My Chihuahua hurt himself probably jumping like most dogs. Brought him to my vet and immediately was clear that his back and neck had been injured. Did not require surgery but did require multiple visits to correct. I had nothing to lose so I submitted my claims (very easily online) and within a week had a response. Most of my claim was covered.

So far so good!

I have had Embrace going on my second year and so far am very pleased. Thankfully I haven't had to use the accident/illness portion yet but their wellness rewards program is great! It allows me to budget monthly to cover expenses I will have for my puppy and even saves you money! Their wellness claim process is so easy and quick and I have a reimbursement check within the week. Hopefully I won't ever have to use the accident/illness portion for my baby but if the way they handle their wellness claims are indicative of how they handle accident/illness claims then I am sure it will be a smooth process.

I would not be without Pets Best coverage!

Pets Best pays promptly according to my plan (unlike other insurance companies who, in my experience, did not). I am confident that I can afford the vet care my dogs need. I would not be without Pets Best coverage and recommend it to everyone I know as well as complete strangers. I don't care what the premiums are, I want the peace of mind that I will not have to put down my dogs because I cannot afford the needed treatment.

Stay Away

I had the 30 day coverage as I adopted a puppy from the Humane Society. My puppy was 8 weeks old. She was vomiting a lot on a weekend so I took her to the emergency center. I had to fill out a lot of paper, one question I answered was she sneezed occasionally. This was totally unrelated to the visit. I paid for this visit as it was a day past the 30 day period. I decided to sign up. I had to wait another 30 day waiting period. My puppy was attending a training class with other puppies. She seemed like she had a cold so I took her to my vet. He diagnosed sintitus, picked up in the class. The visit cost me $96, so I submitted it even though I had $100 deductible. It took over two months to get a decision. I had a hard time reaching anyone on the phone during the two months, Finally the letter arrived, denying the claim saying my puppy had a pre existing condition. This because I checked "occasional sneezing". on the intake form at the emergency care center. Recall she wasn't treated for that. This was totally unreasonable. Dogs and humans all sneeze occasionally. A pre-existing condition!

We are Trupanion customers for LIFE

Our last cocker, Bailey, had diabetes and we did everything we could to provide him with the best care possible. It was expensive. Trupanion not only shares in your love for your pet but they share in the expenses also. As long as I own a pet, I will own Trupanion Pet Insurance. No questions, no games, no surprises, NO fine print. They say what they mean and mean what they say.

Outstanding customer service!

After having to take our dog to the 24 hour emergency vet due to persistent vomiting and dehydration, which was a scary experience for all, we were relieved by how easy the claim process was with Embrace. Healthy Paws is reliable and easy to use.

Healthy Paws has been a great investment and insurance for both me and my pets. Unexpected illnesses or accidents have come up and Healthy Paws was there to lessen the burden. There were a few hiccups in the beginning because I had to keep calling my vet to send records every incident I had, i mentioned this to them. They listen to their customers, because now I don't have that problem. It is now a seamless and easy process to submit a claim and get reimbursed. I am a very happy customer!
