This insurance is amazing.

I know it may sound like hyperbole, but PetFirst insurance is truly amazing. We have four dogs and all of them are insured. We've had some significant surgeries for peridontal disease including teeth extractions and they have paid a significant portion of it. One of our dogs needed spinal surgery and they helped with that. Our doctors submit the claims and very quickly we are reimbursed. I recommend them to family, friends and anyone I run into who owns a pet.To anyone reading this: remember that the claims are handled fast only if your vet is quick to fill them out and send them in. Ours is very good in doing so and PetFirst completes them right away. My sincerest thanks to PetFirst.

Amazing, Kind, and Fast!!!

I can't tell you how great Trupanion is! They were kind and worked with me. They allowed me to email them 5.5 years worth of invoices and medical notes, literally hundreds of pages, and they began reimbursing me within two weeks!!! The deductible per diagnoses does not have to be met yearly like with people, just once over a lifetime. Thank you Trupanion for following through and for being nice about it!!! You are the best!

Positive experience

I have never had my insurance company call to check on me. After Gizmo's two claims, a representative called to check on her and make sure I was satisfied with their service. After I submitted the claim with the receipt copy, it took a few weeks for them to reimburse me for a large portion of the bill. It was just in time for me to pay my credit card bill with the charge included. I am very pleased with their service so far and have recommended them to several others.

Kind, attentive phone staff who do their best to answer questions immediately. Prompt follow-up on claims. Emails to let you know claim status. Follow-up after illness.

Very good response time and reasonable terms.

We have six cats and three dogs and have been with then for many years. We have found that they are reasonable in the amounts paid for each claim and that they are prompt in making payments.

Have used and appreciated PetFirst for years

PetFirst came as a trial insurance when I got my rescued dog, Abby, and I decided to keep the insurance, since I did not have a lot of medical history on the dog. I really appreciated the company giving rescue dogs a few months of insurance, and an inexpensive program to help me keep her on insurance. In the six years I had her, PetFirst was very helpful and responsive whenever I had a claim. Once I got used to - and got my vet office used to providing the proper paperwork and vet notes, putting a claim in was very easy and routine. I have suggested over and over to my friends that they should have their dogs on medical insurance - and have recommended PetFirst. It was the first time I had pet insurance but all my dogs will from now on. Dogs should always be able to get proper treatment, and it should never be reliant on whether we have the money at the time. Be good to your dog.

Follows through and covers as agreed upon

I want to thank healthy paws for actually covering what was promised. We originally had aspca pet insurance from the day we got him and in the first few months he became sick and constantly had diarrhea. We had to bring him in the middle of the night and spent $600 at the emergency vet. Although we had a 90% plan, they didn't even cover 40% of the bill. Additionally, aspca insurance had a higher monthly fee. We read reviews on healthy paws and switched. For the vomiting a few weeks ago, we were nervous as the bill was almost $600 for our first visit and then around $1500 for the second. We didn't want to have to choose between our dogs care and coming up with $2000 from our savings or credit cards. I filed the claims for the two visits within literally 2-3 minutes using the iPhone app. We were so relived to see the processed claim showed that healthy paws actually covered what they said they would. We were thankful that Ollie was able to go to what is considered the best emergency veterinary hospital in New England and get the best care. He was monitored 24/7 during his hospital stay. We were able to say ok to his X-rays, ultrasound and when the doctor recommended he stay another night in the hospital we could do so without adding any financial stress to ourselves. We love our dog like he is part of our family and just want to thank healthy paws for following through on your promise & covering what they say they will cover.

Awesome

Our WPG was bit on the nose by a rattlesnake while we were camping at Lake Roosevelt. We rushed him to the emergency vets in Spokane where he was given treatment. After getting the bill I was a little scared about how much was going to be covered and how big of a hassle it was going to be. When I got home I submitted the claim and hoped for the best. I was shocked when I got a response in less than 30 minutes saying that our claim was approved and even more shocked when I saw the amount that was covered. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

Kindness for our loss of Mocha

I am grateful for ASPCA Insurance. My cats Mocha and Espresso are my boyzzz. Very special to me and very sweet. Feb 28th I Mocha passed away. He had been ill for several years and a fighter always with good disposition. He always remained loving and kind through his sickness. Feb 28th I came home and he had passed away. Before I left he showed no signs of dying always strong and loving. A very difficult time for me and his brother Espresso. Friends immediately came over to help me bury him and plant a little garden for him. Espreesso has been having a difficult time with the loss of his brother and has been sick. Over the few months Espresso and I have been healing and doing much better. Espresso's health improving. ASPCA and my appologies my I am not rememberning his name called shortly after Mocha died with condolances. He is very sweet and what a surprise to have an insurance company call and check in on Espresso and I to see how we are doing. Human insurance companies have never done that for any of my family losses. Recently he phoned again to check in on Espresso and see how he was healing and if his sickness is improving. Espresso and I are doing better and Espresso's health is improving. Espresso also a fighter like his brother Mocha and always sweet and loving no matter how good or bad he is feeling that day. Happily, I have a wonderful Doctor for Mocha and Espresso and their hospital and staff so sweet and caring, as well. Espresso is beating his sickness and improving everyday.Thank you ASPCA for always quickly processing thier claims and helping me with the costs.nAnytime I call in for help understanding claims, best way to process, and reviewing insurance before renewals the person speaking to is patient, understanding and very helpful. So glad I have ASPCA insurance for my kiddos. Cynthia
