Many Pros, One Con
I really like Pets Best for how much they cover, what is covered and the monthly amount is pretty low. I took away a star because it is taking over a month for me to get reimbursed. Over all I am really happy I picked Pets Best! I've used it every month since I got my dog 6 months ago so it is so worth it.

I enrolled my puppy back in March 2019. The premium increased around 35% in March 2021. Huge jump on premium. :) Do your research before enroll you pet(s).

So thankful I had this insurance for Moki
So happy to have this for my Chichi mix- Moki. When he became sick and needed a life saving surgery it was going to cost thousands. They had us reimbursed direct deposit within 4 days of submitting the claim. Moki is doing much better and we could not be happier! I am a 20 year Veteriany technician and I tell clients about healthy paws!

The rates sound great however
The rates sound great however, reaching anyone by phone with a question is IMPOSSIBLE. I had such a MINOR change to make because I made an error on line and it took 2 days of calling and 3 hours of time waiting for a representative. I have not yet used the insurance but they need to improve their customer service and hire more representatives!

I had to write out the word at instead of using the symbol because email addresses are not allowed. I am editing my review to note that within a couple hours of my review. Do not recommend for Pets with underlying "preexisting condition" - regardless of age or condition
Wishing Pets Best was able to help, but had to leave this group to search for another way to receive financial help when you are caring for an animal with a pre-existing condition. Under these circumstances, in order to provide the proper care my dog needs, PetsBest is not offering any help. Wish there was something like a 12 month waiting period but that does not even exist... Thank you for your response. My point exactly ... there's no point wasting money with any insurance company when none go to the extreme to cover pre-existing condition. I will always recommend to everyone to save your money to help your pet directly instead of wasting it on pointless things such as insurance companies! Heck... even humans get a break on pre-existing conditions. There should be companies out there that offer to help pet owners with a waiting period of 12-18 months then make exceptions on pre-existing conditions...especially on rescue animals when we try to provide animals with a loving place to care for them instead of neglecting them as you insurance companies are teaching others to do.

Easy and Affordable
Bought insurance the day before our dog's first wellness exam. Once the vet had sent over the receipt and exam details, it was maybe 5 minutes to go through the claim process on the app for the bill, and the money was immediately transferred... I can't believe how easy it is to buy the insurance and file claims. Also, the policy we have costs less than any other provider we looked at -- and is more customizable.

No communication - JOKE OF A COMPANY
No communication, no emails with policy number and no response when you want to cancel. Joke of a company. BUYER BEWARE don't waste your time. I will probably have to file through my credit card claim to get my money back for no services rendered after purchasing. Website faulty , app not able to log in and glitchy. You know it's bad when you wait on hold for 20 min for the customer service rep to say sshe doesnt know why the email is still not sending. After saying something is wrong with their website and to try the app, but if that isnt working to just cal back. Pass - how is the even considered an option for people?
