AMAZING!!!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Healthy Paws. I was recently on a family trip to Ireland visiting my mom post breast cancer surgery. My dog Rosebud slipped her leash on my poor sitter and was hit by a postal truck. She had to be brought to Alameda East Vet Hospital and was in an oxygen tank for a few nights as her lungs were bruised and she was having a hard time breathing. Her hip was also fractured requiring a plate and pins. I was beside myself being away from home and not being with her and was also really concerned about paying 1000's out of pocket when money was tight. Healthy Paws literally stepped in. Realizing I was out of the country they paid directly to the hospital for me, telling me not to worry that they would take care of the part they owed and sharing that I should enjoy the last few days with my family instead of worrying about the financial end of Rosebuds care. They were AMAZING!!! I beyond recommend them to anyone as a Pet Care company.

Do not get this insurance!

This company has not been honest in its marketing or in the way it handles customer submissions. I faithfully paid my premiums on two dogs but was denied a payment due to obscure language in the dental portion. I was also unable to sign up for the new wellness program because I already had accident and injury policies. They then further complicated the issue by wanting back veterinarian notes which I finally was able to procure and they then wrote exclusionary portions into an already existing policy. They are crooks. Don't let them take your money. Nothing but the runaround.

Glad I finally looked into getting pet insurance

I was always reluctant to look into getting pet insurance. Why I don't know. I have had ASPCA insurance for about 3 or 4 years now on my beagle. So glad I did it. It's very easy. Pay your vet at the time of visit, submit the bill with the claim form. Turnaround time for reimbursement averages about 2 weeks. I tell everyone, my friends, coworkers and people I meet in the vet's office how great ASPCA pet insurance is. Everyone says they should look into it too. Some people will ask for the website address. I also like the fact that many times a Customer Service rep will take the time to just give a call and ask how my beagle is. Great company and great service. So glad I finally did it. Why don't you?

Up until the last week I've found these people to drop major balls regarding customer service. Overall it's been a good pet service for over seventeen years. When it comes to reimbursement time they really rip you off -you don't get 80% of your vet bill monies back. I was told that I could be reimbursed by way of check to my account but the customer rep screwed up. They are quick to tell you anything just to get you off the call. Management don't return your call back right away as promised. Lastly, my monthly premium was 54.00 s month( not cheap) but let's be real, I've had some great customer experiences with the old pet health company verses with this new regime.

Worthwhile pet insurance

My dog had two back to back, unrelated, stomach problems. The vet was able to resolve both. ASPCA pet insurance sure helped with their quick reimbursement for these unexpected vet expenses.

Embrace is Peace of Mind

We purchased Embrace pet insurance when our puppy Blu was 8 weeks old with the hope that we would never have to use it for anything serious. A few weeks ago our puppy starting having serious gastrointestinal issues which caused him to be in the hospital for 3 nights. We were so thankful for the peace of mind that we had, knowing that the insurance was there for us. The claim was covered 100%, less our deductible and co-pay. What a blessing.
