After my dog had a big surgery, Tim from Healthy Paws reached out to see how Riley was doing. Not only did the company provide coverage at 90% of the cost of the surgery, but it was clear that they actually care about the animals they're protecting. There are so many companies out there that are trying to just 'make a buck' and while I'm sure HP has a lovely business model and are trending for great profits :)... it's clear their focus on customer (and pet!) satisfaction is number one over their profit margins.

My dog had a life-threatening emergency which required surgery and a 3-day hospitalization. Fortunately we were able to recognize his symptoms and get him quickly to an excellent emergency veterinary hospital. We were also fortunate to have Healthy Paws pet insurance so we could feel assured that the cost of his care would not unduly burden us. Our claim was processed literally within hours of our submitting it, and today I received a check for 90% of our bill, minus the deductible. Getting this insurance when he was a puppy was one of our best decisions ever!

Thought it would ease fears of having to make the hard questions pet owners may have to make concerning the care of their pets but I was thoroughly disappointed.

Awesome pet coverage

I called and spoke with wonderful people on the phone. I was very concerned about my cat and I didn't know the insurance information since my husband was out of town at the time. They were incredibly helpful, calm, and kind.

I've had ASPCA pet insurance for my 3 cats for a few years, and thankfully never had to submit a claim. My Houdini stopped eating & drinking, and his body was lop-sided and his head tilted. we brought him to the vet, and then referred to the ER, because he was in bad shape. I'm pleased to say he is under treatment for a double middle ear infection, and is recovering. So for the first time, I went on line and filed a claim. It was very easy to do. I received confirmation that my claim was received almost immediately, and within 3 days, I received an e-mail that the claim was processed, and my reimbursement is being mailed to me. Then, the ASPCA representative called me to make sure I received the good news about my claim, AND to see how Houdini was doing. very caring and efficient. I volunteer at a pet rescue, and I am recommending the ASPCA pet insurance to everyone.
