disappointed

I sent my receipts to pets best on 2/14/26 and never received a word until 3/5/26. Not acceptable in my book. It was not a complicated visit. Urinary infection. No surgery, nothing. So....my expectation is that this should be accomplished within a week.

My Kitty is Covered!

I've had insurance with Pumpkin for my orange boy kitty, Link, since 2022. He's now 5.5 years old and has dealt with stomatitis, gingivitis, and the likes since he was a few months old. It's resulted in him needing a few dental cleanings and 16 teeth pulled so far. My mind is at ease knowing that my coverage with Pumpkin supports Link's care without much question at all. I am always reimbursed for his visits and treatments, and his bigger invoices are paid for so quickly. I'm beyond grateful for the staff always being kind, respectful, and understanding. It means the world to know there's a company who looks out for the fur babies and their owners.

So thankful for Pets Best!

A scary emergency vet stay for our two dogs ended with two healthy pups and an expensive bill. Pets Best delivered exactly what I was hoping for. It was a smooth process from start to finish. Our claims were processed in a timely manner and our reimbursements came through quickly which was such a relief. I did a lot of research when we decided to get pet insurance, and I am so thankful we selected Pets Best!

DO NOT use MetLife pet insurance

DO NOT use MetLife pet insurance. This is not a billing dispute — this is a company that took our money, confirmed their own mistake, and then made it structurally impossible to fix. Here is exactly what happened: 1. We paid premiums for an extended period — over $1,500 total. 2. When we filed claims, MetLife said they were approved and paid. We received nothing. When we called to ask why, a MetLife customer service agent confirmed that a one-digit zip code error IN THEIR SYSTEM had been sending every reimbursement check to the wrong address the entire time. 3. We tried to correct the address ourselves through their app — the app would not allow it. 4. We escalated to a manager. The manager told us the only way to fix the zip code was to cancel our policy and re-enroll. But re-enrolling after a cancellation would raise our rates — AND void all previously approved claims. In other words: their fix would erase the very reimbursements we were owed. 5. We attempted to cancel anyway.
