This is a first time buy for pet ins. We had a MinPin that drained our bank account towards the end of her life. Hopefully it won't happen again with this purchase.

We have had Trupaion from the start.
We have had Trupaion from the start. Our dog is 12 now and because from experience we know the value of having health insurance for our pets. We have had many medical issues and Trupanion has been there for us. I would advise any one when you get a pet get insurance for them.

The unknowns are out there!
The unknowns are out there! One never knows what happens tomorrow. I have registered all 3 of my dogs and one kitten. One of my dogs is a purebred and the other two were from our local humane shelter. To be honest I thought if I needed insurance I might require it for my purebred Akita. Probably because many years ago I had to sent an Akita to the Saskatoon Veterinary University for a total hip replacement and had no pet insurance. That wasn't going to happen to me again! Well, wouldn't you know it, it was one my pound pups who needed two TPLO surgeries. This is a very expensive surgery and even more so when you do not live close to any of the specialists who can do this type of surgery. Having this insurance for a mixed breed has been such a relief. The thought that I would have to put him down soon due to the pain he was and would be experiencing more, was of course troublesome. Then one remembers, hey I have insurance and make the phone call to enquire. You can't imagine the stress being relieved to know that you are able to get financial help! I will continue to always do Trupanion pet insurance because, you never know what happens tomorrow and it is worth it in so many ways.

I've had Embrace pet insurance for a year. The rates are very reasonable and the coverage is very good. They have paid all claims in a timely manner. I am very happy I chose them for my pet insurance.

The best coverage you can find!
I did a search with different companies, and Spot Pet has the best coverage. The very next day after I bought the policy for my two kittens an underwriter contacted me to ask me if I had any questions regarding the coverage. She was able to confirm that this plan does not exclude completely pre-existing conditions. After the condition has been treated and not relapsed for 180 days, if it happens again it will be covered.! ❤️ I love this specially because one of my kittens is currently been treated for bladder stones. Absolutely it was the best option.

I was very satisfied with my claims experience with Pets Best. They let me know that they were a little backed up with processing claims but would get my claim done as soon as possible which they did, and the claim statement I received was easy to understand. I was impressed with the processing…
I was impressed with the processing time of Dakota's most recent claim but a little disappointed with the reimbursement amount. He has another appt on 10-25-21 and will forward a claim and see the payout on that one. Overall the premium amount is fair so will continue the coverage for now.
