Quick Reinbursement

I brought my 10+year old Boxer in to the vet for uninary problems and also had a senior checkup. Embraced covered more than half for which I am very happy. Within a week, I received my reinbursement.

I was not clearly explained my coverage limits

I was heavily disappointed when I received my dog's review of medical history. While I submitted his medical history in April, at the beginning of our coverage, I was not provided with an overview of what charges would and would not be covered until September, when I submitted his claims. While the e-mail said the medical history reviewed was shared with me to "avoid surprises" I think it was extremely irresponsible to not provide this review in a timely manner. Had I known from the beginning which items in his history would be considered "pre-existing" and this not covered, I wouldn't have wasted my time and my vet's time in submitting our claims, as the majority of them were declined.

Embrace all the way

I never thought I needed pet insurance, I thought it'd be a waste of money. Boy was I wrong. If it wasn't for embrace I don't know what I'd be doing right now. There staff is helpful and knowledgeable. And they have supported me and my puppy through some unforeseen circumstances.

Peace of mind!

About two months after adopting a rescue dog I noticed a small mass one day while giving her a bath. The scheduled surgery to remove the mass led to blood tests that revealed a further irregularity and further tests, ultimately showing she had a mass on her spleen and an enlarged liver. She had to have a splenectomy, have the first mass removed, have the masses and her liver biopsied. We were relieved to learn that everything was benign and manageable, but with the location of the two masses, they had to come out asap. We called Embrace and submitted the pre-surgery form and scheduled the surgery right away. Everything was processed so quickly (within 2 weeks). Embrace answered all our questions via email and phone, and they sent regular email updates until the paperwork was done. At first I was skeptical of getting pet insurance, but I financed all of my last dog's medical bills myself, which I would do all over again, but at the end of his life it was a real financial hardship. I wanted to give our new dog the very best and didn't want to have to make decisions based on money. So I shopped around and compared insurance companies and Embrace seemed to offer the most comprehensive and fair coverage. Having just gone through the various kinds of medical issues that come up with a very senior dog, and having just adopted a new senior dog whose medical history I knew nothing about, I wanted an insurance policy that was flexible. Embrace lets you customize the policy to best suit your needs and budget. It offers complete peace of mind. I'm so happy we have it, and I just added our cat to the policy, who is young and healthy but deserves the very same.

Healthy Paws delivered during a time of stress

I was relieved to find an insurance company that had an annual deductible vs. a per condition deductible while offering the same type of plan. This company has been so great to deal with from the initial set up to processing payment in a timely manner. They even followed up with a personalized email checking in to see how our pet was doing post surgery. Our vet did not do this. I feel this company goes the extra distance which makes them one of a kind.

ASCPA truly cares about your pet!

I love how whenever my dog is sick and I have to put in a claim not only is the claim handled promptly but they also call to ask me how he is doing! They are so friendly on the phone and are general concerned about my fur baby ! To me that truly means a lot being my little boy( even though he isn't little anymore - is now 12) means the world to me! It's great to know they too are looking out for him! 😊

Excellent!

I have had an Embrace policy for many years for my LuLu. This was the first year that I actually made a claim since she required surgery. I am very pleased with the customer service staff in answering questions and providing followup. I selected Embrace many years ago since they covered both conventional as well as holistic treatment.

Amazing, reliable, first rate insurance

Prior to having my own dogs, I watched my mother struggle with getting her pet insurance (not Healthy Paws) to cover *any* expense for her dog. After hours filling out paperwork and faxing in countless documents, my mom was still rarely able to get any coverage despite the fact that all her claims were actually within the statutes of the insurance. There always seemed to be a loophole. When I got my two dogs, I knew I needed insurance, but had concern that my experience would just as arduous as my mother's. After much research, I finally decided upon Healthy Paws. Not only were their representatives incredibly reliable and professional, they were also kind and patient with my many questions and points of contact prior to signing on. Additionally, Healthy Paws' policies also seemed very fair and almost too good to be true. Every review I read (both from pet owners and companies performing large scale reviews of all pet insurances) also gave a strong endorsement for the insurance company. Am I glad I made that decision for both my dogs! Since signing with Healthy Paws, I unfortunately have needed to file multiple claims for both my dogs with a total well over $1,000.00. Healthy Paws makes filing claims so easy and convenient--the doctor faxes in her note and I take a picture of the invoice (on the Healthy Paws app!), and I receive a reimbursed check within a week. Every time. Even better, Healthy Paws representatives are always available to answer every question I have. The app makes it so easy to submit and track claims, as well as manage the policies on both my dogs. Considering the exorbitant costs of pet care, especially medical care or emergency services, Healthy Paws literally enables me to be a good, responsible pet owner with their exceptional insurance coverage and services. I can literally sleep better at night knowing that I can have a proper medical work-up for my dog who has been vomiting and having bloody stool, without having to take out a a loan or forego a needed endoscopy or medications due to cost. Even more impressive, not only do the representatives ask how my dogs are when I call, but I also received an email from a Healthy Paws manager asking how my dog was doing. I truly feel blessed to have found Healthy Paws and recommend them without hesitation to anyone with a pet--even if you have other insurance, I'd be hard pressed to believe it can beat what Healthy Paws offers.
