Excellent Customer Service

Over a period of several days, my little King Charles Cavalier, Sadie, gradually refused to eat or drink. I took her in to her veterinarian where they hospitalized her over the weekend. They couldn't immediately find the reason, so they conducted a series of lab tests to find the root cause of the problem. As a senior citizen, I panicked at the potential skyrocketing of costs for her care but this paled over the thought of losing my Sadie. Because I'd interacted with the Embrace staff in in the past in which their Customer Care Department had been super helpful, I knew deep down that somehow I would get help with the costs. Embrace came through with covering the costs per the terms of the policy. Reimbursement was made in a very timely fashion. I'd like to add that a few years ago when I was researching pet insurance companies, I asked my veterinarian which company they recommended. They said "Embrace" without hesitation for their efficiency and immediacy in handling claims. Good customer service has always been important to me so I have no regrets with my choice. Embrace Pet Insurance gives us peace of mind.

My wife and I have male long haired German Shepherd. We enrolled him in Embrace to cover a serious injury should it occur. We are very happy with Embrace and especially their customer service which is excellent. We trust them and have had only positive experiences in our claim handling. They are top shelf!

Peace of mind!

We recently adopted a dog from the shelter. It gives us peace of mind to know we have pet insurance for the new addition in our family. We're told she's a healthy baby, but anything could crop up those first few weeks at home!

Thought I was covered, but....

Out of a $356 bill they only paid me $2.25. Went in for urgent care, but they claimed that everything was elective or "routine" care. They SUCK!!!! ENDING My coverage as would rather put the money into a Money market fund JIC I need it for my fur baby.

New Puppy owner is very happy I found you

My puppy didn't feel well and I got a $990 bill, I asked the vet which Insurance they would recommend, I researched ASPCA and liked their reviews and prices but not till I needed to use it was I impressed. Quick claim submitting and getting reimbursed was very easy. I even got a call and a card asking how my Rocco was feeling. VERY CARING COMPANY! I have recommended to all my friends with 4 legged babies.

Bentley is apart of my family so I must invest in

Great response from Embrace

Our 2 year old cat somehow managed to swallow a needle and thread! Emergency vet surgery was a complete success and he is doing beautifully as far as we and the vet can tell. Embrace never hesitated and we could not be happier with regard to the entire process and coverage.

One More Day with My Friend

People often say they “would give anything to have one more day” with a friend or loved one. Unfortunately, the realization of “anything” leads to financial disaster in addition to heartbreak. I took out Healthy Paws Pet Insurance the day I brought my puppy home five years ago. I thought he would most likely do something stupid such as swallowing a stick, eating gum, or some other “dog” activity that was not well thought out by him or his owner. For five years we paid on our Healthy Paws Insurance without a claim. I was tempted to cancel the policy since he was now five years old and no disasters had occurred. My “one more day” unfortunately came. Two weeks shy of his fifth birthday, I took my dog to the vet and he displayed symptoms of ITP (immune mediated thrombocytopenia). The cause was unknown. The initial treatment estimate was up to $5,000. I knew I had insurance so I approved the treatment. He did not respond to treatment and the next set of procedure costs made me hyperventilate. I called Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and spoke to the representative that stated, “If the process is FDA approved, we’ll support your vet. Please go back and be with your dog and don’t worry”. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and their representative were there for my dog and me over the six-week battle that far exceeded the initial treatment estimate. My dog received state of the art treatment and I was reimbursed the 90% of my policy within 3-4 days of submitting the invoice. The vet hospital did their best but we ultimately had to put the dog to sleep. Healthy Paw Pet Insurance ensured that money was not a barrier to treatment. Healthy Paw Pet Insurance gave me one last walk around the lake with my best friend. I shared one last pizza crust with him, and I was there in the end. The employees at Healthy Paws sent a hand written sympathy card and stated they would help in any way they could. It’s not often you get to thank an insurance company. I will never forget the support they gave me during my dog’s health battle and will recommend them to everyone that will listen. Healthy Paws enabled me to “give anything” for one more day. I was able to say goodbye on my terms. Thank You to the men and women of Healthy Paws.

Great

I have had no problems with the ins company. The only things that I would say is that when my one cat died I had submitted the claim for his death and they still had him listed on my Pets. That was hard to see because it was such a sudden death and horrible death. Other than that I am happy that my furry loved ones are covered!
