Not sure if I would recommend trupanion....we haven't yet been reimbursed for and claims.

With your support I have no worries to take care of Nikita. She is very dear to my family and she is very sensetive and needs a lot of care and she is very lucky to have Trupanion as her insurers. Thank you Trupanion team

i called yesterday after I dropped Sadie at the Pet Dentist .. she needed all 4 canine teeth worked on and one premolar with 3 roots needed a root canal and will also need a metal cap. My claim was handled quickly and I received both phone calls and e-mails keeping me alerted to what was going on. Other than the cost of my deductible and the exam, everything was covered and will be reimbursed 90% as I chose a 10% co-pay. All of the Trupanion folks I spoke with were terrific. My Standard Poodle Sadie thanks you. Me too.

Sophie had aye infection due to allergy. ASPCA followed up with vet for additional details and processed the claim promptly. Thanks ASPCA

We are fortunate that our pets have been very healthy, but we could not have foreseen that flowers would result in a toxic situation. Lilies are ubiquitous and there are no warnings for them. We filed our claim for the intensive care that both of our cats had to undergo, and after several thousand dollars of horror, it was a welcome relief to be covered. They are both well now, and we are blessed with their companionship and love. Well worth it!

My 5 YO lab has a degenerative retina disease and required surgery for cataracts on both eyes. Trupanion processed and paid my claims within a week for over $6000. There was of course a co-pay but they paid 90% after that. I have not purchased pet insurance in the past but glad I did when my dog was a puppy.

being active duty military, financially we were hurting will all the vet bills. Our current insurance plan helped so much and eased the stress and allowed my husband and I to focus more on my puppies treatment than the financial burden of it all. we are so thankful.

More than have my claims were denied..My 10 year old min Schnauzer was diagnosed with anxiety in October 2016.. His medicine is 53.00 each month all denied for payment by trupanion At the time this rider option was not available when I took out my policy..My dog had surgery to remove tumors from his left inner eyelid and inner hind leg. Surgery was on April 12th claim submitted just a few days later.. Iam still waiting.. Is always in open status or being reviewed Probably waiting to get a few more monthly payments out of me first My vet has said several owners of patients in her practice have not been impressed..and had negative experiences along these lines. At the time I bought a policy they were basically the only game in town not anymore, lots of others to chose from. His anxiety medication was disproved after they made me submit documentation numerous times with the excuse they couldn't make out the paper work. Once it was straightened out it didn't take them but 2 days to deny the claims after weeks and weeks of requesting I resubmit the paperwork multiple times
