Easy, fast, and painless
My dog had a recurrence of cancer and had to go in for surgery. It was an easy decision to make because of our coverage with Healthy Paws. While he was recovering, I was able to easily upload the bill and, within days and without any questions asked, Healthy Paws processed the claim and sent us a check. The only correspondence needed was when they checked in on my little guy to see how he was doing :)

A bit pricey but tremendous coverage
I have two cats over 18. I pay more then I would with other insurers per month, but they cover 90% costs AND have a really wide variety of illness/injury coverages, including specialists and surgery!
It really has been a lifesaver for my older cats.
They care about you like family, at Trupanion. I have had claims people walk me through the policies, explaining everything. They helped me in tailoring my plan, to save me money while getting my fur family needed coverage.

Seems kind of unnecessary that for...
Seems kind of unnecessary that for pet insurance both my name and my husband's name needs to be listed on the account. I needed to give an updated credit card for my monthly billing and I couldn't give it until my husband wrote an email and authorized me

I can't imagine a better pet insurance company
I love working with Trupanion. They are so easy to work with. The opposite of how you'd imagine an insurance company to operate. I've worked with them for about 5 years and never had a poor experience.

Every-time I called I spoke with a person who was competent, knowledgeable, caring and friendly. I was walked through the process with everything totally explained. All questions and concerns were answered.

You helped saved our fur baby
When we arrived at the emergency vet, I forgot we had the 30 day certificate. I was worried about our bills and if we were able to afford to help our dog. Having the trupanion certificate really opened our eyes. In a split second you have to make the choice to save your pets life, or can we afford that.... because of Trupanion we were able to afford it. Thanks Trupanion!

Best Idea to Get Insurance!
After years of not having insurance and spending thousands at the vets, my vet signed up Jones before something happened. And it did IBD that with the meds caused diabetes. These are on going and the claim process has always been easy. Deductile was paid during the initial diagnosis process and the have paid 90% of all qualified expenses since. Including $1900 of a $2400 3 day emergency vet visit when he had a major IBD flare and couldn't breathe! It makes care decisions easier and you can do more for your pet. I signed up my other 2 kitties after all this. Even with the added premiums...what I get paid back by trupanion outweighs what I have paid in premiums overall...on total.
