I’ve had this insurance for 3+ yrs now and they have covered every emergency and surgery my fur baby has had. Great costumer service and they pay back faster than expected. I can now relax knowing my dog is insured and covered instead of having to break the bank to get him treated. Do not hesitate and get this insurance. You’ll thank me one day.

I am happy with Pets Best help and communication. I am not sure that the amount of reimbursement is as good as other pet insurances??? It seems like a little more should be covered but maybe my expectations are too high!

Coverage great , customer service not!
Well if I had to leave a rating on how Pets Best coverage worked with me as far as what my plan is and how they covered it, it was great and I would have gave it a 5 star. But when it comes to customer service and waiting to see if something is covered, or trying to speak to a person on the phone I would rate it a negative 1 star if I could. When you call Pets Best, just plan on getting in a workout or watch a movie and keep it on speaker phone because you will be waiting a very long time on hold listening to "elevator music". They will take about a month or longer to process your claim even though you did everything electronically and sent veterinarian invoices in right away, it doesn't matter. Just one example, I sent in all the necessary bills and documentation from my dogs surgery on September 29, 2020 and the next day it showed Pets Best receiving the claim. I just received my reimbursement from them on November 3, 2020. I couldn't even blame it on "snail mail" because everything is set up electronically for "faster and more convenient service" Also Pets Best advertises a "more convenient " pay directly to your veterinarian . This is a joke, nothing simple or convenient about it. I tried with my vet and it was such a big hassle that I had to cancel the process and pay the bill myself and wait the 35 days for reimbursement . My vet did everything they had to do, not only faxing the bill directly to Pets Best, but also calling Pets Best about payment. When my vet was told payment to them could be at least 30 days or more, they were not too happy with that and told me that my bill would remain as outstanding and charged interest if not payed in 30 days. So I didn't take the chance and paid my bill in full and waited the 30 plus days for my reimbursement. Anyhow, when all said Pet Insurance is the way to go and it will save you money in the long run. Pets Best did cover everything laid out in my plan and I still would recommend them for that reason, but you must have a lot of patience because their customer service / processing sucks!

My wife and I decided to get pet insurance for the first time after having 3 dogs that were healthy over 40 years. We called your company and were welcomed by a wonderful young lady by the name of Stephanie Toppel in Chicago. She was very knowledgeable and welcomed us with open arms. She explained all of the options that we’re available and had all the answers to my various questions. She made it a very easy process to purchase your insurance. Stephanie seemed to have a real concern that we were totally satisfied with the policy. We thank you again for having an agent that was so helpful and knowledgeable. Howard Silverman

I would be better off banking my money that i pay for your insurance. Exams should ne covered!!
Not sure. I try to take good care of my pets. I pay close to $200.00 a month for pet insurance. Very disappointed exams are not covered. I do this yearly for preventative health. Especially dental health. I have 5 cats, it cost $ 700.00 for teeth cleaning, whicj is a prevenative procedure. 700x5 cats is a lot of mony. My premium continues to go up every year. Between my premium ,deductable, exam fee, Dr fee, labs, i would be better off to save my insurance monthly payment myself.

You may not always need to use pet insurance, but when you do you smile big time for having it. Trupanion works fast and has not let me down. I have a dog with bad skin issues and Trupanion has helped give my dog a better quality of life through their very organized service.
