Lifesaver for three little rescue dogs
I have Trupanion for three small dogs. Two of them are at least eleven years old (we're guestimating, as they are both rescues), and during the past couple of years have had major medical problems. Trupanion was helpful and very prompt, in paying my claims to the full extent of my coverage. I honestly don't know what we would do without it.

Trupanion Came Through for Us
Our dog jumped out of a moving car and needed life-saving surgery to repair a spinal injury. (His seatbelt clip broke - a good lesson to check seatbelts regularly.) Trupanion covered 90% of the cost, which was over $8,000. When the vet started talking about the costs, I quickly told him we had Trupanion, and that the medical decisions could be based on Manny's medical condition and not based on the expense. Trupanion even paid the hospital directly. That allowed us to focus on Manny's recovery, and he has improved from paralysis to almost normal in the last 8 weeks. Thank you Trupanion! We are customers for life.

I have had trupanion since my canine was born. He suffers from allergies and preexisting conditions. That they have been very great with covering. He will be 8 years this month and I could not be more pleased with their service

I have had nothing but good experiences…
I have had nothing but good experiences with Trupanion. They are very fast at getting back to you when you put a claim in and unfortunately I have had to put in a nice few claims lately as my German Shepard ended up having to have knee surgery this summer and it was great to know he was getting the best care possible and I didn’t have to worry about the bill in the end as I had Trupanion so I was able to offer him the best so he would not be suffering. It is a relief when you have insurance and you just pay your monthly bill and when something goes wrong you don’t have to worry about what it is going to cost as my 2 dogs are my children. Thank you Trupanion!!!

You must have pet insurance!
After one of my friends had a huge vet bill with her dog, and my own experience with my previous dog, I vowed to obtain pet insurance with my next pet. Good thing we did because our little Maltipoo ruptured one of his discs jumping off of our kitchen table when we were not home. Trupanion was so great about the claims procedure and reimbursed us within 10 days after making the claim. I advise anyone with a pet to obtain Trupanion pet insurance.

Fibrocartilaginous Embolism
My Yellow Labrador suffered a Fibrocartilaginous Embolism back in March just as the COVID lockdown was starting to kick-in which resulted in Gabby having to be hospitalized for a couple of weeks resulting approximately $12,000 (CDN) in vet and rehab bills which were fully covered by Trupanion minus any deductibles. Claim process was simple in which the vet billed Trupanion directly thus eliminating the need to pay out of pocked. I've had Trupanion since Gabby was a pup and it's events like this that makes Trupanion worth the monthly fee.

Pet insurance is a must with our pack
Pet insurance is a must with our pack! It has allowed me to provide the best possible care for my dogs. ( better medical care that I get!) I have no hesitation taking them to specialists or requesting tests, xrays, ultrasound examinations. Please consider the peace of mind and comfort this brings to a sensitive or urgent situation.
