It was a really easy experience in singing up and with the immediate coverage for my pup it gives me less to worry about for his future. I know now that if something happens we'll be able to take care of our dog and not worry so much about the cost.

Trupanion has created a “waiting period” with only one exception that only happens by happenstance in a regular exam.
Trupanion has created a “waiting period” with only one exception that only happens by happenstance in a regular exam. Basically “fuck you to whoever has an animal that has something happen to them that’s out of anyone’s control”. Absolutely ridiculous policy. Can’t even get the proper care needed for my companion because Trupanion doesn’t give two shits until they don’t get their monthly payments. Then I’m sure I’ll get plenty of communication in regards to that. Should I have gotten insurance earlier on? Hell the fuck yes, I should have. Did I? No, the fuck I did not. Did my fur baby run into a problem with his urinary tract? Yes, the fuck he did. Can I do a lot about it? No, because I’m not some rich twat hoarding my money in stocks and bonds. Pretty bad business model with this unnecessary “waiting period”.
