Customer service people are exceptional! Payment of claims is exceptional! Rates are affordable! We recommend trupanion to anyone consider pet insurance, it¡¦s not an option but a necessity! Trupanion allowed us the freedom to save our 11 month old Great Dane two years ago! A bizarre autoimmune reaction that can happen to any pup nearly took him from us, without proper medical experts to diagnose and treat him we would have lost our beautiful big boy. After $48,000 in treatment all within a matter of days, this is put behind us with no I¡¦ll effects. Claims were paid by Trupanion directly to VCA in less than a minute in every case. We were left at ease to focus on our pup because Trupanion had our back and saved his life! Can¡¦t recommend them enough

When speaking with her, i could tell in her voice how much she believed in the plan and the service- her approach was made all the difference. I liked how straightforward the plan is. Trupanion is good for emergencies but basically in my experience with our dog we pay way more in insurance then if I had to cover an emergency 100% but I guess that is what insurance is for emergencies.

However, we are still uncertain if we've made the right long-term financial decision when it comes to ensuring appropriate healthcare for our beloved pet (as opposed to a savings account/investment with the bank). Only time will tell!
