I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
My experience with using trupanion is good, however, I would not recommend your insurance because it is way too expensive even at high deductible amounts and even though I signed up when my was a puppy 10+ years ago, the monthly premium just keeps going up. I would recommend to anyone just to set aside the monthly premium amount that Trupanion charges, ie put it in a bank account to use in case of an emergency with yet. In the end, most of the time when you consider the deductible, services that are not covered (ie. the exam) and the 90% coverage, you will be further ahead.

The ease of direct billing was awesome. And submitting a claim online was also straight forward. To know I could get my dog the care she needed without concern for the financial burden was everything. Without you I can’t say I would have my dog to continue to love at this moment. Forever grateful.

So efficient
I am so glad I got insurance early on for my pup, so far we’ve had to use it twice as she has GI issues. The claim process is super easy through their app, just submit a picture of your receipt and all set! The current premium is actually not that bad considering how much we have been using it, just wished it covered the examination fees. But overall great customer service!
