Our initial visit for Fiona I paid the bill....I had forgotten our clinic will handle claims directly with you. I hadn't submitted to you but the next visit/issue our doctor put in the claim. (I owe them a very small amount for the 10% difference and due to me paying the first issue) All has been expedited and taken care of from you--no worries no hassle, very impressive. We have only had to use our insurance one previous time for Fiona. Premiums per month are costly but to us worth every penny because it just adds that layer of not being stressed about potentially high veterinarian visits for unexpected issues (such as this seizure) especially during these weird times of uncertainty with COVID and its effect on finances. We are very happy we are members of Trupanion

I have been very happy with Embrace pet insurance. I shopped a lot for a policy and felt most satisfied with Embrace. Since my cat has been insured with Embrace they have been most accommodating, have great customer service, and have honored their claims promptly.

Worth It
Healthy Paws has truly been a lifesaver for us. My mastiff was diagnosed with Wobblers this past month and her medical bills are already above $3500. They have been great with communication even during Covid and I have received my approved claims ina timely manner. It's also really nice that they cover alternative treatments like acupuncture and hydrotherapy as surgery is not an option for her at this time. I've never had anything but good experiences with this company and we've used them for 6+ years. They definitely are not cheap but when you need them they are there and it is worth it everytime.

Pet insurance is a nice concept, but it's only affordable to me at the biggest deductible level. I may be better off just saving the same amount for emergencies. However, I have found nothing but kindness and compassion from the trupanion agents. Your empathy for the very unrighteous death of my baby Rudy surpasses anything expressed by anyone else -- thank you for your kindness in sending a note of sympathy for him...he will be missed more than anyone can understand.
