Horrible time first claim with pet best
I have several beloved pets in my life and usually go to UC Veterinary Hospital in Davis. I review several insurances and selected pet best because its affiliation with carecredit. This last has been tremendous help. Sadly this last Dec Veronica got a tumor removal, and jan 1 Bonny got her stomach distended due to gastritis. She was so scared for the fireworks, and she was hospitalized for 1.5 days. I paid the hospital and then I was out of the country for 3 weeks when petbest needed proof of payment, documents I submitted but they questioned. Because it was only me that need to call UC Davis and get a second proof of payment all got delayed. As up today I still getNO news on the tumor removal from Veronica ($569). They emailed several times asking for proof of payment with Bonny and I keep emailing them back that I am out of the country. Today they called and again I complain to them and in fact the agent says that now the 45 days will be longer because I did not send again the proof of payment. I got this insurance because its related to care credit that I am fun off, but if in the first claim since I got the insurance in June I have several problems with 2 claims maybe it is better to find another pet insurance as I want to be taking care of my beloved pets.

So easy and quick!
I purchased Lemonade for our Maine Coon kitten, and we purchased the preventative package for kittens. This includes everything from vet visits to vaccines to spray/neuter. I am extremely happy with Lemonade. I chose Lemonade over other providers because they seemed to be the most comprehensive and laid out everything in such a clear manner, way ahead of its time in pet insurance. The app is excellent, so easy to use and so easy to submit a claim. As soon as you click submit, your claim is approved and the money is immediately transferred into my checking account (by immediately, I mean in seconds). It's nice to have piece of mind that if anything bad happens, Lemonade will protect me from having to spend thousands out of pocket to save out cat. We are so pleased with it, that we switched our other Maine Coon cat from another insurance (our high deductible meant we never were reimbursed for anything) to Lemonade as well (he is 1.5 years old). If you are looking to purchase pet insurance, then I highly recommend.

Useless Insurance-- Does Not Pay For Anything
i'm done using Trupanion. They do not pay for anything. They do not cover annual exam, vaccines, i don't even know what type of visits and ailments they cost. if my pet has upper respiratory symptoms, they refuse to cover because the first time i brought him in to see a vet, he was sneezing. and they would not cover dental procedure because upon first examination he had tarter in his teeth. then recently I brought him to pet ER for UTI symptoms. I paid $414 and the insurance claim payout from Trupanion was on $13. What an insult. After Tiger's bladder stone surgery I'm going to have to switch insurance.
