Great coverage. I love the theory of how the insurance is put together. Nothing else like it and is great. The only thing id like would be the option to pay a yearly premium instead of monthly. Other than that I feels its going to be great for me and my dog!

I submitted the receipt from the emergency vet and the money was in our bank account the next day. My regular vet submitted everything today after his follow up, and the entire process only took a matter of minutes. We paid the remainder. Very easy and straightforward.

Trupanion is a complicated process.
Trupanion is a complicated process. Their initial sign-up coverage details are confusing at best. I would think they could list coverages and deductibles in a type of list to add clarity to what is covered and what is not. Also exactly how the deductible works-such as every little issue the pet goes in for, if not exactly like a previous issue, is considered a new deduction. Your rates also keep increasing by 10-20%. When I took out the policy I was told the rates would remain stable for 2-5 years. I am extremely disappointed in what I was “sold” vs. actual coverages.

I'm very happy with your service. Trupanion processes the claim in no more than 2 days. The fact that you can do it online and have direct deposit makes it easier for you. I took my dog to an Animal Hospital and they processed the claim for me, and trupanion was able to send an estimate right away. I had to put my dog to sleep but I will definitely insure my future pet with Trupanion. Thank you so much for all your help!
