Our very first claim is being denied as a pre-existing condition so need to go through the appeal process.
Our very first claim is being denied as a pre-existing condition so need to go through the appeal process. Not a great introduction to the policy, and quite frankly supports why debated getting a policy - that the insurance company will always find a way to deny a claim.

Because there are inconsistencies in what you told me to sign up that you would cover versus what is happening now. I feel like I was sold a bit of a bill of goods; I was completely clear in my expectations when i signed up, $297/month later and almost nothing is covered. That's a problem.

Continue to automatically increase cost every year by 26% for each pet
They continue to increase the price by 26% each year - from 3 to 4 years of age cat. I can't image how expensive it will keep getting in the future. When I make an estimate for a new pet same age and breed, it comes out much cheaper then on the phone, they say they have to charge me higher because their rates go up every year... Planning to switch plans.

Life Saver!
Trupanion has really come through for our puppy. We discovered he has a liver shunt and Trupanion has made our decision making easier knowing they are there to help! I am so happy I decided to stick with the insurance after my free month trial and will continue to keep insurance on each new dog we get!
