If you are planning on getting a dog, you NEED Trupanion.
When my husband and I found our dog, Harvey, we purchased Trupanion the same day. We had hopes that we would never have to use it, and it would just be for an accident or if something happened we wouldn't have to question getting him the medical help he needed. At two years old, Harvey was diagnosed with Idiopathic Epilepsy and he had to go see a Veterinary Neurologist. When they said the price of the MRI and Spinal Tap, I didn't even flinch, because I knew we had Trupanion. Two weeks later (and after a year and a half of skin infections and ear infections), Harvey had to go see a Veterinary Dermatologist and go through allergy testing. Again, I didn't flinch when they said the price, because I knew we had Trupanion (and already met our deductible!). Harvey now takes 3,000mg of Keppra a day and is on twice weekly allergy shots (with the occasional CADI Injection from his wonderful Veterinarian!) We submitted close to $4,000 to Trupanion in a matter of a 4 week period. Within a week of submitting the claim the money was deposited back into my bank account. If we didn't have Trupanion, it would of been choosing between paying for something and paying for Harvey's medical bills. I will never have to make that choice, EVER. There will never be a time that I have to worry about Harvey's health or well being. I never imagined that our dog would have Idiopathic Epilepsy or allergies (where he needed shots). I can't recommend to get Trupanion enough when you get a dog. We adopted our second lab almost a year ago, the day we picked her up we also signed up for Trupanion. It looks like she might have to go through allergy testing as well, but I'll never have to worry about her either.

I ended up paying over $500 and expense on top of the deposit or the 10% thatâs a lot of money the first vet that I went to in Edgewater was not so bad but the second one blue pearl charged me a lot more than I was expecting and what Truepanion Quoted a cost me a lot of money on top when I pay you every month

Healthy Paws has consistently provided the best service. The enrollment process is easy, the premiums are reasonable and submitting a claim could not be any easier. The turnaround time for reimbursement is incredibly fast. If you need to reach someone, customer service is easy to reach and very professional and caring. I don’t know what I would do without Trupanion!!!
We had had some health concerns with our old dog and we’re always having to think about what kind of test to do and what kind of treatments we can afford when we got our new puppy we knew we had have insurance. Trupanion has saved our life and Lolas!!! Not having to think about cost when talking about treatment and what’s best for our fur baby has been amazing. Thank you Trupanion!! I don’t know what I would do without you.

No coverage for cremation because my dog passed at home on a statuary holiday.
My sweet 18 yr old Teddy Bear passed away the Sunday after Christmas 2021. I could not see a vet. I had him cremated knowing that my policy covers this and the urn. My vet will not sign the papers regarding his death because I didn’t get to take him in. I have the cremation receipts and certificate. I also have the urn receipt. They covered the urn but refuse to cover the cremation. I still have 4 other pets with them but am considering changing insurers. I paid fees for 16 yrs. He was sick 2-3 times and they will not cover the fee. This really saddens me because I trusted them and their service has always been good.

because trupanion has always been easy to deal with. i have never had to make a claim, but just the security of being insured with trupanion makes me feel protected & safe. all i have read on my irish wolfhound sites when insurance comes up always gives trupanion the BEST marks.
