I was very happy with the experience I had.

I was very happy with the experience I had. I did question being denied the charges for removing a grass seed from her ear, as that was the cause of her ear infection. It did happen in 2019 as well, removed under anesthetic, and treated for the resulting infection. The vet was slow to find the root cause, and therefore she was treated for regular ear infection, prior to discovering the grass seeds. However, since she is not prone to ear infections, this should not be a problem.

Too complicated feedback form

I'm a vet. I refer many clients to you and never get a break on my payments for doing so. Bad news!

Ear infection

Gunner got an ear infection in May and in August got a sore by privates and feet bothered him and end of August another ear infection. Then he was diagnosed w allergies by vet August 24th, 2022. They told me he had allergies from May w/o vet diagnosis. Isn't that convient to blame everything on his 1st ear infection as allergies before a vets diagnosis. Wish I never would have believed the rating and their sweet talk to join their company. Now I'm stuck and can't go anywhere else. Bad company politics.

I now have 8 cats on Trupanion and it has saved me on multiple occasions and I have saved way more than I have spent on all of their plans.

I now have 8 cats on Trupanion, and it has saved me on multiple occasions, and I have saved way more than I have spent on all of their plans. When my kitten broke her leg, and when another cat developed an autoimmune disease and required numerous appointments, medications, and rehab, I didn’t have to worry about saying yes to the best treatment. I was able to have them treated to the gold standard, no second thoughts. That peace of mind is priceless in an emergency situation.

Doc Haney

I'm disappointed because our dog has been insured for 3 years (October 3, 2019) on October 2, 2019, he visited his vet for diarrhea. I attempted to submit a claim on 4/17/2021 because he had diarrhea and my claim was denied, when I called to inquire the reason for denial I was told that his diarrhea was considered a preexisting condition (which is completely ridiculous to me since diarrhea is such a broad symptom that could be caused by any number of things). I am currently exploring other options to insure our dog because I feel as though we've been paying into this policy for 3 years now with no return.

50-50 some good some bad

Very easy to submit claims. Just disappointed in the amount that I have to cover spent 1600 on my dogs eyes and out that I only get 28 dollars. On a 500 deductible.

Zoe’s injury

Well I was always under the impression that I had a $250 deductible and then you would pay 90%. Well I get a bill for almost $1000 and turns out that I had to pay the 250 deductible they have $170 administration fee that you guys don’t cover and then I paid the remit the 10%. So it ended up that I paid just about $500 and you paid much less. I don’t have the numbers in front of me right now but anyways almost seems like a waste maybe on a bigger ticket item it would be to my advantage but this experience was not I pay between sick and wellness more money for the dogs insurance then I pay for my own. So to summit up I don’t think it was a very good experience hopefully I never have to use it again because I don’t like when my dog is sick or injured.
