Trupanion recently changed their policy so now my vet canât do my claims so that I get paid directly.
Trupanion recently changed their policy so now my vet canât do my claims so that I get paid directly. Iâm now having to submit my own claims, despite the fact that my Vet has the software. This wouldâve been a 10 except for this recent change.

Taylor was kind understanding and helpful.
Taylor was kind, understanding, and helpful. My dog is sick and I was trying sort out some appeals and file new ones. Taylor was patient. She answered my questions and helped me with next steps. She even waited on the line while I took a call from my dogâs veterinarian. Iâve had a rough few days with my dog being sick. Working with Taylor at Trupanion was easy and I felt like she genuinely cared about what my dog and I were going through. Everyone I have spoken to at Trupanion has been wonderful. My dog has had a lot of medical issues this year. This week alone his medical bills were over $10,000. If I didnât have Trupanion I truly donât know what I would have done. Dealing with my dog being sick is awful, but knowing I can afford his treatment, is such a weight off my shoulders. I tell everyone I know with dogs to get Trupanion!!

Very Happy with Trupanion
Trupanion has been one of the smartest financial decisions I have ever made. My cat, Deedee, is 4 years old, and I've been with Trupanion since I got her at a few months old. When Deedee was about a year and a half, she fainted unexpectedly. She continued to have these fainting spells, most often precipitated by vomiting. Since we didn't know why she was vomiting or passing out, you can imagine all the tests Deedee went through: Cardiology (EKG, echocardiogram), internal medicine (endoscopy, biopsy, ultrasound), and more! 3 years later, and we are still trying to figure this out, but I am able to give her the very best care that she deserves, knowing that Trupanion has my back covering 90% minus examination costs. Best financial decision ever.
