Met Life has been wonderful
Met Life has been wonderful. Very responsive and so easy to file a claim and be reimbursed. I have never had pet insurance until this year and I wish I had done this years ago!

Ten Years of Trust Gone Overnight
I’m really sad to write this review. I’ve had Embrace for ten years with no issues and I even recommended them to others long before they had a referral program. As we approached the ten year mark, they started calling me nonstop. When I finally spoke with someone, they told me my premium was increasing to 4.5x what I had been paying. This was on top of the yearly increases they already apply. They were calling because they KNEW people would be pissed if that auto charge would have happened without letting people know. This is the stage of my dog’s life when she needs coverage the most, and they raised the premium higher than what I pay for both my own and my son’s health insurance combined. It feels like they were trying to push long term customers out before any major vet bills come up. I am extremely disappointed and now my aging dog is left without coverage. It's all shady and typical for an insurance company. I now tell everyone to avoid Embrace and just save money is a pet savings account for the day you may need it.

No Common Sense
What went wrong was when I signed up my new puppy, the wellness policy was not added. I turned in a claim, and it was denied. Now, I have another dog signed up for almost a year. Common sense would tell you to sign up the dog for wellness when I said I wanted the same thing the first dog had. Then I spoke with someone else, and they said I could add wellness. I would have to pay over $400.00 because it would have to be backdated to before the dog was born. Senseless!

Don’t buy Trupanion if you took your dog to the vet yet.
I have a puppy lab made the mistake of telling the vet he would eat some sticks and mulch sometimes days before I got truepannion and they now mark everything to do with swallowing foreign substances as a pre-existing condition and will not cover it low and behold he needs 4,560$ worth of surgery now for swallowing a toy/rock and they denied coverage I had to debate putting down a 4 month old lab because the Vets and Insurance company’s working together to insure the least coverage for an insurance cost you would put on a new car.

PetLife Pet Insurance is a worthwhile investment in the health of our darlings.
PetLife Pet Insurance is one of the few expenditures that we experience where we feel we're getting a respectable return on our investment. We have insurance on both of our Cavapoos.

So Far So Good
So I have only had prudent for a couple of days but from what i can tell, everything has been great. The coverage and the pricing is extremely reasonable. My only criticism would be that an app instead of just a website would be incredibly helpful.

I recommend MetLife
Good email status updates through the process. And we received our reimbursement quickly. My dog is an older dog and the coverage and reimbursements are helpful at this stage.

I have 6 pets insured with them !!! 5 STARS !!!!
I'm so so so lucky to have this pet insurance. It saved me soooo much money. I have 6 pets insured with Pumpkin and 3 of my pets got seriously sick and the bills of the hospital stay of my doggies were a few thousand $$$. They approved my case in 1 day and I had the money back in my bank account in 3 days. Unbelievable !!!! Please don't wait till something happens to your furry friend and then you want to buy pet insurance. Then its too late. You never know what can happen. I also have a younger 5 year old sweet Chihuahua Dachshund Mix and all of a sudden she needed to go to the hospital because and had to stay there for 3 days and was diagnosed with Diabetes. The hospital bill was a few thousand $$ and they paid super quick for it because it was not preexisting. I have now 4 dogs and 2 cats insured with them. A few years ago, I had a different pet insurance but they raised their premiums like crazy every year and now I'm with Pumpkin and they have good prices. Remember, the premium always depends on the breed of the dog and their life expectancy. Of course a younger healthy dog is much cheaper than an older dog. Don't look any further and get your furry friend insured with Pumpkin. Submitting claims on their website is pretty easy as well. I usually don't like insurances but I LOVE PUMPKIN !!!!!
