Highly Recommend Healthy Paws

We definitely recommend HealthyPaws Pet Insurance. We used it for years with our Lab who eventually got cancer. HealthyPaws paid for all his surgeries and treatments at 80%, no questions asked. This plan does not include wellness coverage, but that's exactly what we wanted. After many emergencies/surgeries with our dogs, we realized insurance for emergencies and sickness was the way to go. We'll pay for wellness care, but HealthyPaws is there for the emergencies. We just had one! Our new 5-month old puppy ate a sock and needed emergency surgery. HealthyPaws covered everything (except exam) at 80% and the funds were deposited in my checking account the next day.

Ridiculous

We've been with fetch for 6 years since our dog came home. The rates have quadrupled over.6 years. The rates have nothing to do with our use. This year they went up 500$ despite no claims in 2 years. We started off paying about 65$/month and with the recent increase it is now 245$. You are 100% better off just making yourself a saving account. We've paid this company more than. 10000$ with about a 400$ use once. So ridiculous. The customer service is terrible and unable to provide any assistance.

So disappointed.

I have been a customer of theirs for 10 years. My policy premiums increased for over $700 this year (even though I had no claims for the last 8 years). I feel like they are trying to make money by ripping off customers and taking advantage of the love we have for our fur babies. So disappointed. Don’t waste your money.

Great Insurance

I have had ASPCA pet insurance for many years and my claims have always been settled promptly. I would definitely recommend them. You can have the ability to decide what you want to cover, the amount to cover and the deductions. Thank you ASPCA you have saved my bank account many times.

New Accounts

I just recently changed my pet insurance from many years with Nationwide to MetLife. Wow. What a difference in premium costs for each of my 5 pets and in customer service. Comparing both companies benefits and coverages, MetLife is superior. Customer service with MetLife is also significantly more professional and compassionate. I am very pleased with my decision to change, so far.

My experience shopping for pet insurance

I research several top rated pet insurance companies when looking for a policy for Finian, my 18 month old Irish Wolfhound. I have never had pet insurance before. Met Life covers the things that are important to me in maintaining Finian’s health and well-being at an affordable price. The enrollment was easy. The representative answered all my questions, was knowledgeable about the coverage, and very friendly. My only disappointment is Met Life does not offer equine insurance…..hint hint

Reliable and best prices

I am so happy with Pets Best. I did a lot of research when I got my pup and have been very pleased. I went with a $250 deductible and the Wellness basic we have used it every year :-). My doggie has periodic garbage gut, she's had surgery, bite wound and other wound from running through the forest, eye infection etc. Each claim was processed efficiently and exactly to the contract. Paid out 90% to my checking account or applied to my yearly deductible. Periodically, I get quotes from other outfits and I believe I have the best coverage for the lowest price. I just got a quote from Embrace for $79/mo. Mine is now $52 up fro $46 but she just turned 5 years old. I can't understand how these other companies have higher ratings when they are all much more expensive and have less coverage. Oh well, I feel fortunate to have them.

Healthy Paws Forever

If you need pet insurance and aren’t using Healthy Paws you need to immediately. We’ve been with them for 5 years and won’t ever change. Even when we get a new pup we’ll still use Healthy Paws. Affordable. Great customer service. Quickest claim and reimbursement I’ve ever had. We love Healthy Paws! They even checked in on our dog after surgery. Just the best!

Pets Best Insurance helped me save my beloved Doberman's life!

I rescued a Doberman 9 years ago and when I decided to get Health Insurance for him I signed him up for Pets Best. He had minimal health issues until 2020 when, out of the blue, he bloated. I was aware of the symptoms of the potential life-ending bloat condition and when he showed some symptoms late one night, I took him to the closest 24 hour Emergency Vet Clinic. When the Vet advised his stomach was twisted, he needed emergency Surgery and it was going to cost, I interrupted her and said "I don't care what it will cost, please just save his life". I had Health Insurance with Pets Best, the emergency Surgery saved his life and Pets Best paid for a large portion of the Bill. They have always been responsive and quick to pay for submitted Claims. As my Doberman has gotten older, the yearly Premiums have gone up which makes sense. Pets Best is always willing to talk with me at Premium Due time and discuss potential options to help lower the premium cost. I highly recommend Pets Best, they have helped me take care of my beloved Doberman ever since I signed up with them. I have recommended them to several friends who are also very happy with Pets Best.

Bait and switch: Reimbursement minimal, premiums inflating - seeking alternative care

Lemonades reimbursement limits have steadily declined in the few years I have had them, while premiums have been raised astronomically. I will be investigating alternative coverages with the intent to leave - due to premiums + out of pockets - minimal reimbursement, the annual cost of care is nearly double the amount I would pay for no coverage.
