So I canceled with this company after the first month cuz I wasn't happy the way they did things. I don't want direct feeling they don't do I've submitted for a claim all the receipts all the medical records everything required then they tell me the deny my claim because I didn't submit the the records they're asking for documents or whatever but yet everything was submitted so yet how you supposed to know what's to submit you shouldn't I shouldn't be submit anything prior to me getting the insurance my insurance start on a certain date I submit bills after that date and all medical records not sure of the issue with this company took my money so give me my money back that I paid for the dog then if you're refusing my claim if you want to pay me those hundreds of dollars back cuz it was a big claim so people they do not reimburse you for Spain they do not reimburse you for chipping they do not reimburse you for vaccinations they do not reimburse you for flea and tick stuff trust me my claim for it always denied and this is the second review I put up do you think the company contacted me no cuz heaven forbid then give me my money back that I paid for the month since you didn't you know what I'm going to contact somebody higher there's an insurance place you can contact the office of the Supreme of insurance for any and all insurances and I think I'm going to do that and send him all the proof of everything I've sent and the way it denies maybe this company will be shut down then cuz I'm going to have them under investigation stole my monthly money and then refuse to pay me anything back pretty sad

Paid $635 in vet fees for Spot to cover 80% of a $300 bill this year. Not sure if this was a good financial decision. Only keeping it in case there is some catastrophic incident like a urinary blockage again.

The claims process is easy and straightforward through the site. Payment was turned around within a week, and customer service was super helpful with questions. They are definitely more expensive which is my only issue. When prices rose this year I had to raise my deductible to afford insurance.

"In May of this year (2025) we learned that our young, sweet dog (fur baby, we have no children of our own) Blackjack was diagnosed with lymphoma. We have had him about 3.5 years and he is a rescue. When we learned of this news, we were devastated of course. Thank God we had insured both of our dogs with pet insurance from Pets Best. This pet insurance has been a lifesaver for us. Blackjack's oncologist appointments and cancer treatments have been very expensive and with petsbest insurance covering 80%, it has helped immensely. This is the only way we are able to continue paying for our sweet pups treatments- with the help of the insurance. The yearly insurance is affordable for us because we budget for it. Having insurance for pets is a MUST. You never know what can happen especially with rescues. I would recommend PetsBest to anyone. PetsBest insurance was recommended to us by another pet parent and I am SO glad we got pet insurance. After our first rescue dog needed a blood tranfusion then unfortunately did not make it much longer, we decided that pet insurance is most definitely worth it! Thank you PetsBest! "
Hate Insurance till You Need It!
Like all insurance..........hate to have to pay for it till you actually need it. Then, you are sure glad you have it. Pumpkin has been great to work with and prompt on reimbursment.

Absolute worst customer service and company ever.
Absolute worst customer service and company ever. I have never left a review before but I can't with this company and want to warn everyone to never use them!!! Shop anywhere else or just put the $150 they're making you pay into a savings account for your dog/cat. You'll probably end up never using it and then just have a treat for yourself. Started paying for pet insurance for my dog as a puppy which started at $50. Today, they have upped it to $150 and I have never even used them. I have given them over $8,500 in the years I have had them and they just up your monthly payment whenever they want and if you want to pay a lower one, they only offer one choice which is, they will make you pay a higher deductible to lower your monthly so it's not really helping at all. Please please please go anywhere else to get pet insurance or again, just put it into a savings so companies like this can't screw you over.

Aileen was pleasant and professional. i’ve spent over $6000.00 with your company to insure my other dog Nala and i’ve never submitted a claim so I was hoping to get a better quote for my second dog Zeus. If Aileen has no discretion negotiating the price then I give her 5 stars. I’m getting less coverage at a higher price for my second dog.
