Stalling to prevent reimbursement for a claim.
I had one claim filed in February 2025. After 10 months of trying to get reimbursement, I am giving up and switching insurance companies. This is insurance is a scam and all they deal in is stall techniques. First it was there is not a record of a clean bill of health. Once that was provided by myself and the veterinarian office, nothing was done. I called and asked for a status update. And then their next stall technique was the invoice with the vet notes was not descriptive enough to approve the claim. The vet sent in additional information. But still not enough. Absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time. I will not be renewing my policies for my dogs. I will find a company (even if it costs more) that will be true to the insurance policy.

Insurance Scam
I have this insurance for some time. However, they will refuse to cover any legitimate expense under all kinds of excuses - need this and that. Do not buy this insurance it is a fraud, and the reviews are fake. I will cancel mine after my over $400 from the Vet charge for a sick 2-year-old Shih Tzu was denied. Will try Chewy who is our vendor for all pet supplies.

So far this is one of the best animal insurance for accident and illness because they pay full price 90% you only have $250 deductible on other stuff but when it comes to stuff that's very urgent they pay 90% of it so I appreciate them for helping my dog walk again.

85% Increase Due to Move
We've had one claim for the three pups we have covered. The process was easy and reimbursement was not delayed. Premium increases annually were inline with my expectations. However after being a customer for six years, we moved 150 miles away and our premium increased 85%. I understand the increase as pets age but the 85% increase was due to the move. The customer service rep was not friendly but not rude. He seemed only to read a script - it was robotic. We'll obtain quotes from other companies when we have a new pet.

I’ve been happy with this insurance so far, but I do with there was an option for 100 coverage after the deductible is met instead of 80%. Maybe there is one and I’m not aware. Also, sometimes it takes a little longer to get reimbursed for a claim but overall not bad.
