My pet Hershey has a disease called cushing's which requires her to take medication every morning. The medication is costly each month. Pet Best insurance covers it, and my family and I are so grateful for it.

Pet insurance saved our puppy
My 10 month old Great Dane puppy, Brutus, got very sick very suddenly. We suspected a blockage, but when all the conservative tests came up inconclusive we needed to go in and do an exploaratory surgery to find out what was going on. When there was nothing but inflammation, they took biopsies to send off to be analysed. They came back for IBD, and with probiotics and prescription food we are hoping to manage it. Without pet insurance, I would have had to make a hard decision as this was almost 6000$ to find the cause. If you don't have pet insurance, get it now!

My experience with Trupanion has been wonderful
My experience with Trupanion has been wonderful. My dog has a number of chronic issues that I wouldn't t have been able to afford if it weren't t for my coverage with Trupanion. The clinic I go to direct bills so I only have to pay my small portion and it only takes about 5 minutes or less. Trupanion has been a lifesaver for my little dog! I would definitely recommend them!

Not likely to refer a friend
Not that likely to refer a friend. Does not seem like any pet bills are being paid because of the high deductible. This is only an emergency type of insurance if something unexpected happens just like car insurance such as the operator said...so far I'm not seeing the benefit of having this insurance.

Pay a lot of money
what's so hard is finally get a claim That's covered and by the time everything is deducted not a cent back. Seriously considering cancelling . Pay a lot of money for basically nothing

I got insurance for my pure bred Bernese mt puppy, thinking I would never have to use it but unfortunately he became ill and I did have to put him down at 10m old due to kidney failure but it was so nice to know I could do everything I could try to help save him before making that decision, trupanion staff where very easy to work with and the claims where reviewed in a Timely manner, I will definitely be getting Insurance on our next pup.
