Always a great experience with Nationwide!
I love having pet insurance! Always comes in handy when unexpected bills pop up! It even helps with wellness! All three of my dogs have policies! :)

Pets Best gives me peace of mind.
I've had Pets Best for both my dogs for over 8 years. So happy with ease of turning in claims (vets do it for me) receive prompt feedback and or payments. It makes the emergency vet visits not as painful since I know we are covered. It also helps me financially care for my dogs. Thanks for being great and giving me peace of mind especially with aging pets.

Better coverage
I like having the coverage, I feel that it could cover better. I even purchased the wellness coverage. I got a nine week old puppy. You would think it would cover all the immunizations. I understand not the spay. I think you would process claims a little faster too. I never know where my claim is.

Amazing coverage for people with pets
This policy has been a life saver for me and my pets. I can go to the vet knowing I am covered and knowing I do not have to worry. This helps keep my budget in check and ensures that I am able to offset a majority of the cost for my fur babies when they need medical help. Vet care is expensive, but it is necessary. We have had to deal with cancer, and puppy getting into things puppies get into and always I am reimbursed in a rapid manner and I get great follow-up from VPI.

Doesn’t Cover Much
My premium has almost tripled in just 4 years. They levy pre-existing conditions, so most of my vet visits are not covered. They have many exclusions and limitations, and although they paid half of a major orthopedic surgery my dog had, I was still responsible for $3,000. And if you are thinking of getting it for an upcoming surgery, they’ll either slap a pre-existing condition and not cover it or not cover it because you only had your insurance for 6 months or less. I do not think I will renew my policy.

Efficient claims process
We chose Embrace because they offered coverage overseas where we were stationed at the time. My previous experience with pet health insurance was with Healthy Paws, and I was happy with their cost structure. Embrace has similar a cost structure (i.e., deductible, and % of the billed amount reimbursed), but I could pay the entire year's insurance premium in one lump sum for a discount, which I couldn't do with Healthy Paws. Saving some money = good. The claims process is exceptionally quick, and the vets I've gone to here in Tampa all work with Embrace, so they handle 90% of the claims paperwork/transmittal/filing for me. Less paperwork = great. I also bought into the Wellness Plan, which I've used up in less than half a year, so that was money well saved; and I bought into the prescriptions plan, which is also helping to offset my actual out-of-pocket costs. I was always going to get pet health insurance for our new puppy, having had a good experience previously; I'm glad I signed on with Embrace.

Always Pleased With The Service - Y'all Really Rock!!
My sweet sweet Bernie (the Pug) just turned four years old. He's been covered by Nationwide since he was about two months old. From the basics (immunizations, neutering, chipping, flea/tick/heartworm & allergy meds, etc) to a few not-so-basics (sprained foot, head wound, paw pad injury and probably a few other things that skip my mind at the moment), Nationwide has been there! Filing claims is SO easy and payment is always really fast (sign up for direct deposit and payments are even faster!). No matter who you speak with if you call, the reps all seem to genuinely care about Bernie. I can't tell you how many folks I've encouraged to get their fur babies insured through Nationwide....I'm probably one of the company's biggest fans. I'm pushing 60, always had pets and yet never before had insurance for any of them until Bernie came along. I think we all say "it's so expensive". Folks, NOT EXPENSIVE with Nationwide. In fact, overall, you will find that just the basics (mentioned above) more than pay for the premium. I remember a while back doing a review for Nationwide on FaceBook and actually added up what I had paid for premiums versus what they had paid in claims (for only the basics). I believe my comment was "how do they stay in business?" We've thankfully not experienced a major medical issue, but one look at their schedule for major medical coverage and I am confident they offer THE BEST coverage for THE BEST price. And the caring staff is the cherry on the cake. Me and Bernie are grateful! Thank you Nationwide for giving us peace of mind.

Impressed!
I’ve been a multiple pet owner for most of my life and never really thought pet insurance was worth looking into. My son and I adopted a pit bull mix puppy in January and by the time she was 6 months old I realized she was a Power chewer and would chew and eat almost anything. Since i never had a dog that was like this I was worried she would ingest something that wouldn’t make it through her system so I started researching pet insurance. I found that Petsbest had the best options and coverage, including wellness, for the most reasonable price and signed our pup up at 7 months. Well sure enough at 9 months she chewed up some wood and 5 pieces clumped together and caused an intestinal blockage requiring surgery. The total bill ended up being $3,115.05. I submitted the claim the day she came home from the hospital in hopes that I might get reimbursed before the vet payment on my credit card was due. I was in shock to see that 7 days after I submitted the claim, a reimbursement of $2553.46 was literally in my bank account! Needless to say, I was more than impressed! I would recommend Pestbest to anyone with a pet because you just never know and there’s nothing worse than worrying about your pet when an emergency arises and if and how you can pay for the care they need! Having Petsbest insurance lessened the stress of my pups ordeal and let me focus on her getting better, not the bill.
