Best Thing I’ve Ever Done For My Dog!
My dog, Sam, has had health issues as a puppy and after the first ACL surgery in August 2017 at the age of 4, our vet recommended pet insurance for him. After doing some research and pricing comparisons, we decided to go with Nationwide. Best thing I’ve done for him! I’m not hesitant to take him to the vet (Sam would tell you otherwise!) knowing I have Nationwide in my corner.

Recommendation for Nationwide Pet Insurance.
I have owned Shelties for the past 25 years and lost my first two to cancer. I did not have insurance and it cost thousands in veterinary bills. I decided to get insurance with my third; she was a rescue. I now have my fourth and he is also a rescue. I am very happy with Nationwide! My vet’s office faxes my claims in for me so there’s little I have to do. The other insurance company I had for my previous pet (never filed a claim) didn’t acknowledge her passing with a card or a note. I appreciate Nationwide looking in on how my pet is doing and hope I only have to use the insurance for regular check-up’s and dental cleanings. I love my babies and promise to give them a happy and healthy life!

We Love Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!
When a beloved pet is suffering, the focus should be on them and not on the cost of veterinary care. With pet insurance, we are able to make medical decisions in our pets' best interest, and the issue of cost goes away. Imagine that! Cost is not in the equation. We've had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for a decade and they are fantastic. They have very reasonable rates that are more than made up for by the coverage they provide. They even cover costly ailments like allergies and cancer treatments. They are always accessible, are extremely kind and personable, and are both accurate and immediate with vet bill refunds. Signing up is super easy and the terms are simple, as in one-page simple! There are no hidden agendas - it's honest and face value. With Healthy Paws, we feel financially confident in giving our pets the best possible veterinary care. Thank you, Healthy Paws, for taking such good care of our family these past ten years! Tia

Comfort in knowing they help with the financial side
It's great to know that as the bill's pile on, we can have the assurance that the insurance helps to alleviate the situation. I rescue dogs so I never know what there background is so having the insurance gives me piece in mind when taking them in for wellness visits or injuried.

Peace of Mind
Trupanion has been there for my Rosie for the past 7 years. We’ve only had to use them a few times, thankfully, but we are so happy we have them when we need them. Very affordable for peace of mind.

Necessary
I think Nationwide Pet Insurance is an asset to have when owning a pet. My dog unfortunately has had more medical issues than I would have expected to have, however, his health is a top priority to me and my family. And we feel having Nationwide Pet Insurance helps with the increasing costs of Veterinarian services.

Pets Best has great pricing.
We just lost our last dog to cancer and didn't have pet emergency insurance because she was only 5, which we thought was too young. Fast forward to our newest dog that we adopted from the shelter. We knew she would need the annual shots/vaccines etc. and wanted insurance for emergencies that might cover some of the wellness too, but that didn't cost more than the shots! Pets Best had great pricing compared to the other insurances out there. We got back about 1/2 of Kaylee's first big wellness visit for her vaccines and check-up. Very satisfied.

Take more than they give! Careful
Be careful signing up with Trupanion! My boy was signed up at 12 weeks and the steady policy increases have been consistently increasing every year making my plan steadily more expensive yearly! My dog rarely sees a vet so that’s frustrating! They will tell you that they are sorry, but they have no options for you to make your plan cheaper either, except for increasing your “unlimited” lifetime deductible to a value that in a lifetime your pet wouldn’t reach anyway... smoke and mirrors! So this year my plan increased by $16/ month which is nearly $200 more per year with a deductible of $500.00 ... that’s a lot of money they take until my dog is old enough to actually get reimbursed... Do your homework... look elsewhere!
