healthy paws is the best insurance ever!!!!
healthy paws is the best thing that ever happened to me and roxy!!! she had heart surgery a year ago and before the surgery could happen needed to be drained of fluid 3 separate times. That ended up being roughly about $3,000.00, the surgery was almost $7,000.00. healthy paws never asked me any questions, they paid 80% and continue to with her health issues. She has congestive heart failure and cancer, her medications are covered 80% as well. i never have to stress about being able to afford going to the vet again!!! One of the reasons I chose them is they don't have a limit!!! And their app is so easy to use, just take a pic of your invoice and submit!!! When i call they ask me how roxy is, and always to give her a hug!!! I could go on forever, my dog is my child, and without healthy paws i would have had to say goodbye to her a year ago!!! healthy paws is the best!!!

Thank goodness for health insurance
I am very pleased with my insurance. It allows me to make sure Bella stays in great shape. She is a healthy dog with no real problems as it is, but if something happens that I need to take her to the vet, it is not the bad experience it could be if I did not have insurance for her. Here's to a long and healthy life for Bella!

Very easy system
Nationwide have been great with all communications with them. We get emails from them explaining everything and the compensation process is easy enough. What i would say is that you need to consider if you need insurance for older dogs (over 8/9) as they dont cover as much and it becomes less cost effective (we found this recently with our poor old dog who recently passed away). For younger dogs, they do help out with the costs and it is more cost effective.

Recommended nationwide pet insurance to everyone
I recommended Nationwide pet ins to everyone I met with a animal. It has Truly been such a blessing and sigh of relief with with our lab. I have found labs require a lot of medical attention and knowing we have nationwide for her always makes things so much better. I know I can take her and financially we will be okay...because nationwide is on our side! So grateful for you insurance and so is bailey :)

Great insurance, slow reimbursement
I think Nationwide pet insurance is amazing. It's super easy to submit a claim and I never feel like I am being duped and taken advantage of. I always understand my reimbursement amount. However, I think the amount of time taken to process a claim and receive reimbursement is far too long. The last time I submitted, it took about a month to receive. Luckily, this was a small bill, but in the future it may be larger and have more of an impact on my finances. I would like to see this amount of time shortened. Otherwise, Nationwide is great!

Trupanion is Tops!
We have had a rough year with our little dog, starting with pancreatitis, and recently, possible poisoning by herbicides on a walk in the park. Trupanion has been responsive, supportive, and a definite comfort in stressful times.

You care enough to insure your pets, so do your research and get the best!
A very short time after I signed up with Healthy Paws, both of my dogs needed expensive diagnostic testing, and one needed surgery to correct the development of tracheal paralysis which caused his airway to be too narrow to adequately oxygenate him. Both are senior dogs, a 10 and 12 year old, so the deductible was $750 a year, with a 60% reimbursement rate which I thought was fair because I hadn’t started them at a young age. Both are very healthy but I thought that at their age they might be more prone to accidental injury because they are active and regularly go to the dog park to play with other dogs. I had never imagined I would need to spend over $5000 for a medical issue on the older one, a Standard Labradoodle, and even the 10 year old Spitz has already cleared her deductible. The reimbursements from Healthy Paws were made promptly, professionally, and the staff is very cordial and caring about the welfare of my pets. I am so happy I did my research and didn’t settle on the company that would have been more convenient because my vet would do the paperwork, and another that friends at the Dog Park have. It’s very easy to submit claims via their app. Do your research - there are many independent reviews about this company. I hope you will never have to use it like I did, but if you do they will provide tremendous relief and support to enable you to care for your companion in the best possible way.

It is comforting to have Trupanion
It's comforting to know my dogs medical bills will be covered in the event of a serious health event. I'm not concerned about routine vet bills. My concern is a major medical problem and for me the premiums are a cost effective way to guard against such an event.
