HORRIBLE
My dog had minimal dental buildup so they wouldn't cover her dental cleaning. Every animal has SOME tartar. It is not a CONDITION. It is LIFE. They steal your money. DO NOT RECOMMEND. It took them 4 months to finally review the invoices. 2 months after they received her records. SLOW SERVICE and vague descriptions of previous conditions.

First year rate was great...2nd year my premium increased by 67%!!
I chose Figo after doing a lot of research and for the initial year I was very impressed. Then I got my renewal rate.....a 67% increase. They tried to say it was because I had a specialty breed, and they were looking at other plans and vet costs.....they also said my zip code could influence my rate...so if i live in a high-rent metropolitan area then vet fees are higher so my premium should be higher. I feel like this was a classic bait and switch tactic. Get them in under a low rate and then jack up the prices for the next year. Very disappointed and feel like the Better Business Bureau should get involved.

I highly recommend Trupanion insurance!
Trupanion has been very responsive and willing to help with our costs. We have had the insurance for 3 years and have never used it. Recently, our Rosie was diagnosed with a condition that has required some fairly costly tests and medications. We are so thankful that we have Trupanion to help us with the costs to get Rosie the treatment she needs!

Trupanion saved our financial bacon and made dealing with a sick dog more bearable

Experience is unbelievable
The experience was unbelievable! The reps were super helpful and quick to respond. My dog was in trouble and bleeding internally and I worried how I was going to pay the vet and then get reimburse since this was all unexpected. They worked with my vet to pay them directly. Trupanion's coverage is amazing. My friend just got a new puppy and I told her to get Trupanion.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how effective Trupanion's coverage has been and how manageable the processing of claims is. Per my review title--1) the insurance covers those expenses that i worry about being overwhelming; 2) the claims process is clear and easy to manage for my vet providers and me; 3) the price of coverage is reasonable and manageable and 4) claims are paid in a timely manner.
