Nationwide is definitely the best pet insurance
We have been very pleased with the ease of the claim reimbursement. The emails about how much Remy is cared for. The 24 hour hotline for assistance with any concerns we have. The policy we have covers more than we had expected and the amount we pay for the policy is very reasonable.

Nationwide pet insurance has been a lifesaver.
My purebred Samoyed, Gibson, just turned four, and I've had Nationwide pet insurance since the day I adopted him. The main impetus for getting insurance (I've got the major medical plan) was that I never wanted to find myself in a position where I couldn't do something for my dog because I couldn't foot the bill. To say the least, Nationwide's pet insurance has been a pretty amazing safety net over the last four years, and if I'm being perfectly honest, I feel like they've paid me more than I've paid them. I recently submitted a claim for oral surgery that set me back $797, and within two weeks $740 was deposited into my bank account. In fact, I can't remember a claim (and I've probably submitted 12-15 total) that took longer than three weeks to resolve, and I've never had to follow up with additional information from my vet. If I'm remembering correctly, the only part of a claim that's ever been denied was a powder Gibson took for a few days to discourage vomiting. The powder wasn't regulated by the FDA, which is why it wasn't covered under my plan, and it set me back a grand total of $40. In an ideal world, my dog would never have an expensive medical procedure. Since we exist in the real world where bad things happen on occasion, I can say with zero hesitation that Nationwide has made my life with Gibson a lot less stressful. It has been worth the investment and then some, and the peace of mind I have because of Nationwide's support is basically invaluable. I highly recommended their services to anyone who asks.

I love having pet insurance and this one definitely gives you the best bang for your buck. Getting ahold of them is easy. They cover a lot of expenses. The only thing I would change is if they were able to pay up front for surgeries. Other than that, they’re awesome!

Easy and worth the money!
Our Atlas seems to be needing a lot of medical attention for one thing or another and having the insurance sure makes the decisions for his treatments a lot easier! With a big dog comes big bills and the insurance sure lessons the burden.

uncomplicated peace of mind
We have had several different Pet Insurance companies over the years to cover our rescue dogs and Nationwide is by far the most affordable, easiest to work with while providing peace of mind for us when we have health issues with our pets. Firt time policy holder
I have to admit I was very skeptical at first however the coverage is a great relief. Our puppy has had 4 doctor visits and we have filed 4 claims very easily via email and received money back each time. The most recent vet bill was for over 500 and we received a refund of 400 plus. This policy was well worth it. Thanks

Extremely Pleased with Everything!
We signed up for Nationwide because we never wanted to have a situation where we had to choose whether or not to afford to keep our dog alive. We also went with the Wellness Plan to ensure the most coverage for our little pooch. Since signing up, we are completely and utterly satisfied with the experience. Our little guy is only two years old but he's already gotten into a fair amount of trouble and has needed routine care as well. It is such a relief to know that no matter what happens (barring a few exceptions) or where we go, we can take our dog anywhere to be cared for. It's the safety of knowing we can afford his care that eases my "new parent" anxieties. In addition - the claim system is quick, easy and efficient. Very pleased by the response time and the coverage. Couldn't be happier!
