Great company and super great staff.
Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a great thing for us with our new puppy. We purchased the plan that covers wellness checks also. Claims have been easy to submit with a quick turnaround time for reimbursements. The staff is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this insurance to anyone that has pets. It has saved us quite a bit of money.

Definitely worth the money
I thought pet insurance was for cat ladies. However, I'm a better-safe -than-sorry kind of woman so I got Trupanion the month after I got my first dog. I didn't use it for years and sometimes I wondered if it was a waste of money. Then my dog got allergies and the test cost $2000! I thought, "$2,000 for dog allergies!? Now I'm the crazy dog lady!" Seriously though, my dog was so itchy that it was really impacting his quality of life. Trupanion took care of it; my primary vet even bills Trupanion directly for me! Now I'll never be without pet insurance; I highly recommend Trupanion :)

Happy with my reimbursement.
I knew I would not receive anything back on the pills for his heartworm and flea and tick medication, but was very happy with the balance I did receive because I thought it would be less.

Really like the service.
I've used Pets Best for my previous pet who passed away in 2013. When I got my next pet, I immediately signed her up with Pets Best. I really like the service and the ease of accessing my "paid for" benefits. I am disappointed, however, on the rate we pay when pet is quite healthy. Wish rate was dependent on overall cost of claims for any particular pet - based on need.

Thrilled with Pets Best.
I have been completely thrilled with Pets Best! Each claim I submitted was paid exactly as I expected. This claim was for spaying her, and microchipping. Paid in about 10 days, and got an apology for that delay. (I was happy with the turnaround time, but appreciated the note anyway). I highly recommend your insurance to every pet owner. Well worth the premiums.
