Hassle free pet insurance.
Very happy we have Nationwide pet insurance for our 2 dogs and my sons dog. You hope you never have to use insurance but we have had a few high vet bills due to sickness and injuries. Having this insurance saved us thousands over the past two years. Nationwide's online claim form is very easy to fill out and can be emailed to them which expedites the claim. We have had no issues with Nationwide paying claims promptly and correctly. If you love your pets, I would highly recommend Nationwide over other pet insurance options.

Been using this company for a number of years now. Yes, there is a deductible, but once that is met, we get 90% back on covered services. And, you can choose the level of services/coverage you want for your pet. Our kitty had his annual dental visit - and yes, required a tooth extraction (as is common per his breed). We were covered! I added the dental coverage when we adopted him. If you’ve had many pets, you know how expensive quality vet care can be. We really appreciate having Nationwide on our side....pun intended.

So far so good, nice refund on emergency room visit
Our puppy showed disoriented symptoms and could not stand and stop urinating. We rushed him to the 24/7 pet hospital. The bill came out to roughly $1200 and re were refunded about $850. The refund paid for more than our first year of payments alone. That doesn't include refunds from our regular appointments either.

i rec commend pets best to all my friends. i think you have phenomenal customer service. I wish the annual fee did not increase so much each year. I wish we could adjust the coverage the policy without creating a new policy.

Extremely friendly and incredibly efficient
I truly cannot say enough good things about Trupanion and their care. In the beginning stages when I was weighing out my options, their customer service was the fastest, the most straightforward in answering questions, and answered what I asked with honesty--not trying to swindle me. I recently called regarding my pup Finnigan's diagnosis of Pneumonia (I did not intend to claim for it because I figured they wouldn't cover it) and she urged me to put a claim in. Every time I call with a question they give me all the information I could ask for and phrase it very simply. They are incredibly speedy with their processing times, it was my first claim and I had my response and money back within about a week and a half. I got everything back aside from the vet check fee (which they don't cover) and all I had to pay was my $200 deposit. The costly xrays and diagnostics and meds were all paid for. Their prices are fair and their services are clear. I truly appreciate them as a company and will definitely continue to suggest them to others.

$40,000.00 saved with Life saving policy
Our beloved doberman Justice developed idiopathic epilepsy at age 3 years, 6 months. His condition has progressively worsened, requiring many expensive diagnostic studies. His medication bill alone is in excess of $10,000.00 annually. His epilepsy is now manageable, and now Justice lives a happy active life with very little disruption from the excessive seizures he was experiencing. Justice's treatment has cost over $50,000.00 so far. We would not have been able to afford to keep Justice alive were it not for the Trupanion pet health insurance policy. The premium cost around $1500.00 per year. The claims are always processed and paid promptly without any delay or problem.

Getting way way too expensive.
For a couple of years this company had fair rates for the policy. Now this year they are raising me rate by almost 1/3 or about 33%. That is unheard of in this industry. I found a better policy for far less money with excellent reviews from neighbors. So I am canceling our policy. I called the company and the customer service I talked to did not seem to care wether I changed or not. Terrible customer service.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a lifesaver. This is the first year my husbands employment has offered pet insurance, and it has definitely been worth it. Just taking your pet to a vet for a regular physical is expensive, but if a problem occurs it can come down to loosing your baby. We lost a dog we had for ten years and. spent all our money trying to save him. Now that we have pet insurance I make sure our Reese is healthy and is taking any medication she may need and any tests she may need to ensure she stays with us as long as possible. The new year is upon us and we will definitely be renewing her pet insurance. Thank you for caring for our Reese. She is part of our family and I don't know what I would do without her
