Nationwide is the Best Pet Insurance
I have had Nationwide Pet Insurance for 5 years now and I have never been disappointed or disgruntled about any of the coverage. Everything is spelled out clearly when you enroll and there are options you can choose from. Some pet insurances do not cover office visits and vaccinations, but Nationwide does. I like this because this is where we do our main visit with the vet - those odd things that pop up and need some attention. All in all, I would recommend this insurance for your pet.

Truly Amazing
I am new to the insurance world! I did research as well as knowing people with insurance and decided to give Pets Best a try, hoping I would never need it! First off, a couple of days after insuring my new puppy I took her in for wellness and it paid immediately. A couple of months later, my new puppy had to visit the vet for some throwing up and things took a turn for the worst! We ended up having to go to a specialist who then referred us to UF. I honestly was able to make that decision with zero hesitation because of insurance (hoping it would pay of course) In those 3 days, my 4 month old puppy went into acute renal failure and ended up passing. Pets Best covered EVERYTHING I thought it would. Their customer service was amazing! I again without hesitation, got a new plan for my new puppy and this time I really hope I NEVER have to use it again. But now I can say with absolute certainty I can make a decision to save my babies life without worrying about the cost.

My 5 year old lab presented a small lump on his side. In the past, I had a dog that needed emergency surgery for a lump and the cost of care was so much that I had to consider losing him, rather than proceeding with the surgery. Ultimately, I went through with the surgery (but took a huge hit to may bank account). Although my current dog's lump is benign, I'm glad that price doesn't stop me from getting the best care for my pet! It's that peace of mind that I LOVE about having Nationwide Pet Insurance! Thanks so much for keeping my pups healthy :)

Amazing!
I cannot day enough great things about Figo. I have never had a policy that paid out as much as them. Having Figo was truly an added bonus after learning that my dog had a mast cell tumor in his nostril, requiring surgery. Figo is always super responsive and the money hits my checking account on no time. Highly recommended!

Every responsible pet owner should have insurance. Cost should never be a factor in deciding which treatment your pet receives.
When your loved pet becomes ill, cost should not be a factor in deciding what treatment your pet gets. You never know when something could happen, and not having to worry about the cost could mean life saving surgery or having to have your pet euthanized. Also if your pet is diagnosed with a life long illness, than insurance will certainly help in your pet receiving the best treatment possible.

Good coverage, high premium cost, slow reimbursement process
I appreciate the coverage provided by Nationwide Insurance. My pup has has some health challenges and I'm so happy to have the insurance coverage. That said, the premium is high. Also, when I called to chat about a change at renewal time, the representative was borderline rude. There was no 'pet friendly' conversation and basically the end result was 'you get what you get, here's your option'. I did not get an warm fuzzy but maybe that's the way it's supposed to be OR that person was having a bad day ... in the end I did renew. They were right ... I get what I pay for. Finally, why does it take almost 5 weeks to get a refund? That process timeline is frustrating and confusing. I submit quickly. I submit all my receipts with the required forms ... I pay my premiums on time and still have to wait. Hmmm ... is that was I get too? :-) I would like to say thank you for offering Pet Insurance. I appreciate the opportunity to protect my pet investment.
