Healthy Paws saved our dog
3 years ago, my boyfriend and I really wanted a dog. Being in our early 20's, money was tight so we called around to several vets in the area to see what they suggest we do prior to getting a dog. One vet in particular explained the benefits of having pet insurance and mentioned HealthyPaws. Two days later, we brought home Nala, a Dogue de Bordeaux and started HealthyPaws the next day. It wasn't long that we realized having this insurance was the best decision we've ever made. Two months later she got pancreatitis. This was just the start of her health roller coaster. 3 years forward, she has over 40 claims, ranging from allergies, to blood transfusions, to pancreatitis, emergency surgery, medications and more. If there is one thing I tell people when they decide to get a puppy, is to get Healthy Paws insurance. We signed up for the $200 deductible with 90% back. Never once have I had an issue with a claim not going through and with their app, it makes my life so much easier. We receive our direct deposit back from the insurance within two weeks and the customer support is always very friendly. If we didn't have Healthy Paws, we wouldn't be able to afford our sweet Nala.

Great pet insurance
I love Nationwide pet insurance and it’s great how easy the claim forms are easy to complete. The only problem is I wish they covered more for certain ACL repair surgery and I don’t like how you have to wait a while if your dog already had ACL repair surgery. My dog tore her ACL and that same insurance period the other leg went. Overall Nationwide is great and I would highly recommend.

Using the mobile app to file a claim is AWESOME. My plan has relieved a lot of the expense we've had this year for my Blue tick coonhound, Ruby. She was taken care of by her fantastic vet and her mama had assurance that she had some help from Nationwide Pet insurance to off set the unexpected vet bills.

Wow-Just in the nick of time I EMbraced EMBRACE!
I have always had small pets and cats. Finally got around to getting pet insurance for my Aussie Mist. Embrace recommendation via my vet. I liked the interaction when I called Embrace and the wellness reimbursement. Also, credit for spade-neuter. Well, had NO idea young cat thought she was a dog and ingested Pom poms. Thankfully, she did well with surgery. She will never be a show cat- but we love her! Thank you Embrace.

Trupanion gives us good care
I think we have received good care with Trupanion. We have only been with Trupanion for just over a year and our premiums have already gone up which makes me feel as though Trupanion is being penalized for claims. Also, our dog is a rescue so she came with unknown issues to us that were deemed pre existing. Unfortunate circumstance

I feel the value is good...I pay a big premium, but service is fast and communication is excellent. It is all easy and takes the burden off of me submitting claims.

Great and quick service
I got pet insurance for my Bernese Mountain dog because I heard stories from other owners about how prone this breed is to injuries or to eating foreign objects and needing surgery. I never thought I’d have to use it because my dog got hit by a car. In a very stressful time, I was worried my experience with Embrace would be like my experiences with car insurance, home insurance, etc. I was glad to find it was NOTHING like my other bad experiences. The staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They say claims can take 10-15 days but it only took 3 business days for them to start reviewing/accepting my claims. It doesn’t feel like they’re just trying to make money off of you, it feels like they are happy to be able to help provide healthcare for your pet. They’re able to explain to you exactly why your premium is what it is, and I really appreciate that transparency. I highly recommend pet insurance for everyone, but especially insurance through Embrace.
