Very pleased with the service I receive from Embrace
I've had many pets over the years, but never had insurance. As they aged, their wellness and medical bills kept getting higher and more frequent. When I got my current dog I knew I decided that insuring her was a must. Finding the right company was a challenge, but I am so happy that I found Embrace. Peace of mind to know I have Buddy covered
It's been great to have insurance on buddy every since he was a puppy because he has swallowed a sock at take him to emergency vet on that he swallowed a little bouncy ball porkchop whole we've had several visits to the emergency vet always covered I didn't have to worry about where the money was coming from I didn't see grow odor he tore both of his ACLS and I got to take him to a specialist who done fantastic work fantastic hospital and it's just good to know that whatever happens I've got him covered. They also pay for his medicine with some is very high and they cover is thyroid medicine which is every month thing twice today and blood pressure medicine so I count myself lucky to have this insurance and he is going to do is acupuncture which really helps his arthritis and they also pay for that too.the only thing I was surprised of was the rate increase as he got older once he turned 10 it jumped but it's well worth it

We Love Nationwide Pet Insurance!
We purchased Nationwide Pet Insurance for our two boxers after comparing all the other companies out there. Believe me, I'm a person who does her research! This has proven to be a perfect company for us. The cover wellness and have covered surgeries and much more for our two furbabies. Its such a relief when a problem arises that we can tell the vet to do all necessary tests and treatments needed. Our Daisy somehow contracted tetanus and all treatment was covered. We couldn't be happier.

My Labradors Cal 6yrs(outta pocket dbl cruciate ligament repair), Gumbo 2yrs, Laney 4.5yrs, Joy 3.5 yrs, and Omer 1 yr (Jan.21st) are my world. We have 3 with coverage and soon to be 4 K-9 Athletes who travel the U.S. and Canada to compete in AKC/CKC Field Trial events. The NFL of dog sports is tough game. Success in this venue is widely credited by vets to good genetics, healthy/physically sound, and intelligent K-9's. It is a communal belief that without the best healthcare regiments, proper training and conditioning program provided for the K-9 Athlete it is near impossible to achieve a career of Field Trial success. Having a sound K-9 competitor, no hassle healthcare coverage allows me to make quick decisions about therapies/procedures that lengthen the life and career of our K-9's. In turn lessening procedures and rehab recovery times. No longer are the days when my K-9's have to wait for care or procedure because I can not afford it at the time. This peace of mind enables me to enjoy my dogs to the fullest. This why I am truly Thankful for your service and coverage options!!!

Very Good Service
The service handling claims is very good. Some claims seem to take longer than necessary but not a big deal. The electronic fund transfer feature seems to allow the bank to be a 3rd party in the transfer - bad news. Why not have ACH transfers be automatic as elsewhere. As the pets age the policy prices become very big but that is probably industry follow. Bottom line I have used VPI for many years, over 10 years, for at least 3 dogs. That speaks to my recommendation.

Error in billing and can NOT get them to correct!!
They have been overhear charging me for 1 year, now raising my rates with ZERO claims! I have been told on 3 occasions that they will correct issue and have someone contact me, but no one ever does, and they continue to charge me HIGHER rate!! I have spent countless hours on hold trying to reach them!! I am beyond frustrated!! I will be finding another insurance company!! Shame on them!!

Disappointed
Although I should have thoroughly read the lengthy document associated with my dog's medical insurance policy, I find it highly disappointing to learn that your company WILL NOT cover my dog's hernia operation. Paying over $700/yr over the past 4 years, I would think that MEDICAL INSURANCE would at least pay for a major part of the procedure and not just the exam to discover my dog's issue. I can tell you for a fact, I will not be renewing my dog's policy with your company, Nationwide.
